I would like to explicitly say that i am not questioning God on his creations. I am just curious... why is dengue/malaria carrying mosquito created? What about you? What creature never fails to make you curious?

Platypus. Enough said. ;) Also, I think the Platypus is a great suggestion of God's completely amazing sense of humour :)

Well, it's an 'us' ending... so I guess it's Platypi? Or maybe it's just Platypus for both singular and plural? Once again, a curious thing! Haha. I feel like Platypuses is wrong.

I have to agree. What is a platypus? Is it a mammal or what? But it is so cute with its webbed feet and flat tail. I think the other thing that I am curious about is why deciduous(?)tree lose their leave in the winter and coniferous(?) trees don't. That has always made me curious also. Especially because you can find both trees all over the US.

I too have issue sometimes with God's smaller creations...like the mosquito or spiders. But they do serve a purpose somewhere in the great scheme, I think of the web or food chain and I think mosquito's fit nicely in the niche for spiders to eat, and then - yeah - the spiders are eaten by the bird. But I guess if I had to pick one of His creation's that baffles me the most, it is the slug. They are slimy nasty little things that do nothing but destroy your garden. Definitely something I think we can go without. but even they I am sure have a purpose.

I have always wondered why buffalo have two horns but cow, elephant, and horse don't have it. Cow and buffalo have the same size and they eat the same thing which is grass. Even goats also eat grass and they are very small but they also have a horn like buffalo. Goat and buffalo, they are two different animals, big and small but have the thing in common Everytime I think about this, I only end up getting myself confuse

While it's certainly true from John's gospel that God created all things & that there was nothing created that was not from God, we often blame God for things that are, when it is really man who has mucked things up. The mosquito, for example, was created & probably not initially carrying the malaria disease (which has been around for centuries). If you can recall the first chapter of Genesis, everything that was created in the animal kingdom had no need to kill for their food or to kill or harm for any other reason. Back to the mosquito... I believe the malaria disease, along with many other diseases are the result of man not living his life the way our creator intended. A great number of the diseases we have around today & in our past are the result of breeding domesticated animals to slaughter for food. More than we realize. Not only from what is being done, but also from the way it is being done. Of course these mosquitoes are born with the disease as it is transferred genetically from their parents. Hope this is of some use.

Mine would have to be the duckbill platypus. i meen come on really?!?! what could that creatures purpose be other than a good laugh. as far as the mosquito.. GOD has a reason for everything he created, maybe the "malaria mosquito" is his way of controlling population. But never forget, someday you will get the opportunity to ask him.

Nothing happens without a cuase. If God has created something, there has to be some reason which only God knows. Only creature that makes me curious is God Himself.
