where is the internet going?

Internet is very impressive. It really has become the information highway carrying tons of a variety of information. There are so many websites too, buisnes-related, personal, NGOs, and so on. Internet has become the most used media for developing and expanding activities and communication. It has become indispensible too.

Really, I think that the Internet has only begun spreading out. For better and for worse, as their are positives and negatives with the Internet and how it has gripped society, much like everything else that occurs in life. Then again, who really knows how much the Internet is going to evolve over the next several years. I mean consider the fact of where the Internet was ten years ago or even five years ago. It was quite different. I think the Internet is only going to grow. In ways few of us will even ever imagine. Yet again, we're going to see the Internet grow more and more through time. Someone is going to find something to make the Internet grow throughout our lives. For better or for worse, it is going to happen. It should be interesting to see the continued evolution of the Internet over the next few years.

How do you mean going to far? Too quickly. No I don't think things are going too quickly. It's a great thing the internet keeps on innovating. Web 2.0 is the renaissance of the internet after the .com bubble back around 2000. The only real troubles on the internet are the viruses, privacy concerns and the failure of countries to improve their internet infrastructure to comply to the demands of web 2.0. 1 or 2 mb is just not enough to watch a video properly.
