anxiety is a state of mind in which a person feels nervous and tends to make the things more worse. anxiety can make us stammer while giving a presentation. make our hands tremble while writing.
and the best way to cope with this is by determination and meditation.

I have noticed anxiety attacks come in a lot of forms. Sometimes it is just a little bit where the nerves are rattled but after a couple of breaths and with some effort, we can push ourselves through it. It might take a little effort, but in the end, we are going to get through it alive. Then we go all the way to the other end of the spectrum, where there is a full blown anxiety attack, that causes us to pretty much shut down and not be able to function because we are freaking out.
I can see why people would be tormented by such a thing occurring. In fact, a lot of the time, when people are suffering an anxiety attack, it takes a fair bit of time before they are able to get going once again. It takes some time before they are able to function. I have had some small attacks here and there myself, but nothing too major. Then again, people can be tormented. I think the best healer is time but that can be a difficult luxury to have.
