The silly small things that put a smile on your face.Years ago me and my husband left each other a note, just every now and again and last night he told me that he had found a note that he had kept that i had wrote a few years ago.Well i have just gone to the loo and there infront of me was a note, from my husband to me,knowing that while he was out i would go to the loo saying face it you know you love me,face it you know i love you to, then it says,i bet there is a smile on ya face now.I thought that was very sweet, you never know what is going to put a smile on your face next living here.

I was shocked when i found the note, because i tend to get alot of company and someone else could have seen the note that he had left, now that would have been funny.I had another note this morning on my bedside cupboard, when i woke up,aswell.

That surely was so sweet, I'm getting jealous. Haha! Seriously, I wish that there are more relationships that go as well as yours does. I once responded to a discussion here in mylot where a man was challenged by his friend to do something sweet and unique for his wife and thus, he was asking for suggestions. I suggested that he buys a pad of "post it" and put I love you because...(all the reasons he can think of) on every single page he can finish and post it all over the house where his wife can find it. I really hope he did that as it sounds so similar to your experience and it put a smile on your face. Congratulations to a wonderful relationship and may you continually share this union as beautifully as ever. =)

My boyfriend, my cats, Comic Book and Science Fiction Conventions, and book signings all put a smile on my face. I love to do things, I love to read, in fact, yesterday, I met Ray Bradbury, got his autograph and I was on a major euphoric high. It was awesome!

Hi jugs, I do keep some stuffs which are really valuable to me. among them, are some letters which my husband sent me after we had met in our hometown. He was working in a small town about five hundreds mile away from home. Other than to keep in touch with phone he did sent me letters. He also keeps all the letters I wrote to him Though we have got along with each other intimately for a quite a long time. And our kid has grown up and has his own living in the other state. It's still so sweet to reread the old letters once in a while. Yeah, our unforgettable remembrance during young years are recalled when reading these sweet letters. Happy posting

That is such a cool story. One of the small things that happens in my life is the fact that my children tell me on a regular basis that they love me. It is awesome for me to hear them tell me that I love them because I know that there have been times in the years that I've been a parent that I've made mistakes with them. However, I also know that there have been times that I've done something right. It just makes me feel good to know that they appreciate me no matter what.

The thing that I am enjoying most about my life at the moment is the fact that, after a long three years of enduring an illness, I am able to get my life back and grab what I want from it. I won't go into what the illness is, but I've just discovered a new way of coping with the worst of the symptoms, which will basically mean that I am now able to go out and enjoy life, like I should have been doing for these last three years. Another thing which I enjoy a lot about my life is living with my boyfriend. We moved in together around four months ago, and I'm loving being so close to him. He isn't in at the moment, and wasn't in for a lot of yesterday either, and it actually makes me miss him an awful lot :( I suppose that just shows how much I actually do love him. I love sitting out on my balcony at 6.30 in the morning, watching the sun rise across the town and the railway which is right next to my flat. I enjoy watching the early morning trains going past, taking people to work to the city near my house. I am occasionally on that train, and know that people will be watching me thinking exactly the same as I think about them when I'm not on it.

I am stuck indoors most of the time, due to health problems,so i know what you are saying.I think that all the things that are small are the ones that seem to mean the most,i dont just get notes,i get texts from my husband, also messages left of the computer, for when i turn it on.He even sends me emails when we are in the same room.I love to sit and watch a good film with my husband when the children are abed,as that is the precious time that we have together.

It sounds like you are your husband really love each other. That's nice in this day and time with so many couples getting divorced. I'm always happy to hear of couples who truly love each other.

Years ago he use to leave stick it note in my car, with silly things on them,so that when ever i went out to do home care i would find them, also i use to get left gifts from him in the car with the message,if you can find it you can have it,lol.I never have to leave notes like bring the washing down,or do anything,as he has to do it all now anyway, lol,he has never left notes like that for me either, other than your friend has text you and i told her yes, then i had to look through the phone to see what they had said just to see that he had text me something rude.lol.I had another note this morning and that was on the bedside cupboard, which was sweet aswell.Come the 5th of November we have been together for 16 years.

Hi jugsjugs; playing in the net, going out with my friends and bonding with them, taking care of my pets, gardening, reading and bonding with my family. These are the simple things that makes me smile. Have a good day and a happy smiling face.

I think that life is what we all make it.I think that there are alot of silly things that can make us all smile no matter what they are.Even when we are feeling really down in the mouth,it is those small things that other people do that leaves a warm feeling that always makes things feel alot better.

Things that make me happy in life. I most defentily have to say my girlfriend. My friends and family contribute to me to. My daughter means a lot to me, currently going to court for her. I like my life style, its hard to coupe with, its life, and you got to find a way to make every situation a good one, even if everything is gone wrong, or seems to be falling apart. Just think, there is always some good too. Everything happens for a reason, and lifes just something you just have to adapt to. I'm not trying to judge anyone, the basic message I'm saying is try to make everything about life better, therefor making yourself happy.

I love the simple things in life. I leave my husband little notes and we text each other, even when the other one is just in the next room. He puts a smile on my face anytime he says something sweet to me.

That's not an enjoyment in life for me.. lol =D Sweet as it is, but i find it a chore to do it when i'm still with my gf back then.. lol =D It's something i dun understand, why cant she be talking to me straight in the face, and needs to write down everything in the form of letters.. haha =D And if i dun respond back via letter, it's gonna be weird because i'll be like reading her a story.. haha =D BUt now looking back at those letters again, i realise the meaning and memories behind them. it's really sweet.. hehe

I love notes, too. With cell phones and internet these days, I like it when people write me sweet little notes because it's kind of unexpected. I also love seeing elderly couples going go walks, holding hands. Dogs make me smile, too. ^o^ Even a sweet text message makes me smile.

My husband often texts me when he is not here, with all manners of things that are nice,as well as those funny messages.I think that even after all of this time that we have been together that he can still feel the same way towards me.

That's sweet. I would say that's one thing to spice up our love life. It's really sweet when we happen to find and recall some little things we used to do for our loved ones, but somehow it stopped over the years. Things we recall back might seem silly, but that's what makes it so sweet when we look into our memory. The only sweet moments with my bf is via writing of love letters to each other.
