Do you think that by choosing an appropriate and effective discussion subject we can get more number of responses than normal?
According to me "YES" if you choose an interesting subject that the mylotters like on seeing then then your numbes of responses can increase as the number of people that will view your discussion will be increased.
What do you think?

If the topic is of general interest and well set out with something to discuss then you are half way there towards receiving responses. Then you should comment on them (that is how you earn too) so that others see that you are active and keeping your discussion alive.
It is not a dicsussion unless you comment back and that will cause your topic to be seen by many others too because it will appear in the lists. Getting a lot os responses is only going to help you earn if you comment back because you do not earn for the responses posted by othes, they do.

Well, you are one of the most experienced people here and you know a lot more than me. Its nice to get some tips from you.
Yes its true that we should select common topics to which everyone relates and also we should comment back to earn and thats how i am earning and also by keeping the discussion alive.
Well, thanks for your response.

I guess you are right. When I'm looking for a discussion, I don't just look at the title but I also open them up and read to see what is it about. But I have to say that the title of your discussion will make people wonder as well. If the title don't look interesting but the fact that the post is actually interesting can caused our discussion to not get much attention as well.
I don't post many discussion because I don't have many idea of an interesting post to make. I just go and response and read other people discussion most of the time. Good luck and have a nice day

I don't know the answer! I have been terribly disappointed and pleasantly surprised by some of my discussions. I still can't figure out the reasons. I guess, and it really is a guess without any kind of proof, that the first four or five words of the topic make all the difference.
When I am reading through the "new" ones, I don't select all of them, just those that immediately look interesting. Of course, you don't know until you have read all the post. Then, once on the main discussion page, I will normally respond. It is very rare that I don't. So you see, the first few words of the topic heading make or break it

Well yes that's what i am talking about if you make people have interest in your interest then they will definitely see your detailed discussion and there are more chances that they will respond to your discussion, so that's should be our strategy to concentrate on discussion as much as we do on disbussion details.
And thanks for your response.

Interesting discussion always catch my interest. I also believe the more active you are with other members discussions the more they will reciprocate as well. But it can depend also as sometimes members do have a tendency to post interests that truly I have nothing out side of what is already commented on it to add a duplication.

It depends. There is no secret formula to it, it's all a matter of what you post, how you post it, and what the MyLotters like.
Here there are people of all around the world, with very different interests. That makes many discussions interesting to someones and boring to others.
There is also a great deal of charm on your part, on how do you express what you have to say. It makes a great difference.

Yes there are different persons of different interests, but who don't like quality? Everyone likes quality content that sooths their eyes. And the more chances of they like the discussion subject, the more chances will be that they will respond to your disscussions.
Thanks for your response.

Of course, that is a big factor too. If your topic is interesting, then expect a high number of response to your question ^.^

Creating a interesting discussion subject doesnt necessarily mean that the person will get a lot of comments on their discussion. A lot of times from what I see the questions that are simple to answer like what do you like to eat for dinner... things like that are the ones that get a lot of responses because anyone can answer them. Its to bad when someone creates a really unique discussion and doesnt get many responses.

Well, i agree wigu you that common discussions like what you said get more responses but its also a fact that a good subject also matters like this one that i have written. And also unique discussions can't get more responses as it interests no one, you have to interest people to get responses.
Thanks for your response.

I guess that's how it works. I think it is best to start topics that appeal to a wider rannge of audience, instead of those that appeal to only a minority of them. The more people viewing your discussion, the more responses you get from them. And your discussion might even get into today's top discussions :) Even though I haven't got there yet.
Good luck to you!

Yea we should start a topic which everyone give their interest in and people try it just once rather than creating subjects which only a few penple would like. I think thats smartness of person how he uses the subject to his advantage.
Thanks for your response.

Good grammar and spelling also helps, especially in your title. If I see a title that makes no sense to me, I just don't even bother to open the topic. Always proofread and check for typos, too.
