MOTHER's LOVE...Show me how you love me - son

We know how much mother could sacrifice for her children. Children are her own flesh and blood. But what if she's in a situation that her son gone into trouble..Is it right for a mother to defend and cover up for her son eventhough she knows that her son done something wrong that would lead him to jail? Do you think that telling lies and false events to the Authorities so that her son wouldn't end up in jail shows how much she care and love her son? Is it right? What's your opinion about this?

I don't think so. as a mother of two myself I have and still am doing everything I can to teach my children to be good citizens, respectful of other people, and to show Gods love to others. I think lying to the authorities, there would be no lesson learned and what is to guarantee that the son won't do it again, or do something even worse. I would hope this mother in question has tried to show her son there are consequences to actions through out his life and his imprisonment is another consequence. There is no grand gesture or other way to show your children you care except what you do every day. If she has been a good mother all his life, he knows she cares.
