A 62-year-old woman from Bulgaria gave birth to twins, each of them weighing less than a kilo. One of the children died the next day.The pregnancy of the woman was a result of an embryo transfer.Ms.Krasimira Dimitrova decided to get pregnant after the authorities refused to let her adopt a child because of her age.Actually the woman, who is now working as a psychiatrist,is soon to be retired.
This story arouse some serious questions to be asked.Should there be an age restriction for becoming a mom?? What are the negative aspects for children whose parents are too old to take proper care of them?
What happens if this 62- year-old woman dies?Who's gonna look after her daughter? What are the social and psychological consequences for such children??????

Actually it is a very diificult case and may be different people will react in totally different way, but as a matter of fact it is very difficult to put age restrictions for mmoms, because some women wait all their life long to have a baby, some other women, because of reliougios reasons do not want to make an abortion. Yes, there are a lot of risks for children, whose parents are too old, but it is true, however, that unfortunatelly a lot of young parents die in accidents or with some disease.Yes, may be relatives will take after the orphan and the psychological and social consequences of such children will be undoubtedly very negative from my point of view.

Thats irresponsible to have children at that age. That woman is 62. She probably only has about 15 years left. Most people lose their parents in their 30s or 40s. This child is going to lose its mother while she is in her teens.

Wow the woman obviously wanted a baby and since all else failed she decided to go this route. Well that would be my first question as to what would happen to the baby in the event she passes at let say 70 years old. Well nothing is for sure and she may live until 90. Maybe she could have done this earlier in life but opted for now.
I sure hope that the surviving baby is fine overall as the risks are quite high. Apparently this woman truly wanted a baby, so I do not think I should worry about enough love an nurturing, however if I had the choice I personally would not do at 62, I wish her blessings and happiness.
