Many of us nowadays feeling to get the Fastest broadband plans like BSNL`s 3G connection and some more but consider one thing in the mind , if you apply for the broadband dont consider only the speed , check after the limit of memory usage , the Time to which we can afford that speed and finally the Money . Because speed can drain your memory of usage within a very short period .In BSNL , ordinary home plans are very good . If you search for broadband plans its better to choose the unlimited plans .

I used to use the unlimited plans before but I stopped the contract since I couldn't use it for few months because of travelling. Then when I came back to my country, this unlimited plan was not on promotion anymore, so I have to choose how many GB I wanted to rent a month. Actually I wanted more but I can only afford 6GB maximum, and even this is already expensive. It only really last for half month, then the rest of month I have to go with reduced speed and my Internet will goes quite slow and it is still OK. I can always wait until it reset again.

The problem with the wireless connection and limited connection is that they are very expensive. Most of the them have good speed, but they are around 1 GB or 1.5 GB limitation and he cost is very high after that.

Hi, stylewaves! I agree with you, friend! The reading and writing speed of our hard disks are only a few hundred MB per second, so we don't need a GB broadband. I have tried if I download things with a speed of more than ten MB/s, my computer will become very slow.

The problem with the limited internet is that lots of data get consumed and at end most people get more bill amount rather than unlimited internet.

I do agree with you that it is far more important to have a broadband plan that has unlimited usage than to have a plan where we have the fastest speed. At our home we don't have the fastest plan by a long run, but we do have the plan that allows us to have access to the internet whenever we need to have access to it. It works out very well for us like that because we need to be able to access the internet on a frequent basis and we also are running multiple computers in our home.

Unlimited usage internet is better because most times the limited internet would give big bills if we use it without checking the usage.

There are many users who used BSNL 3G services. And also they have face many problems related to broadband services of BSNL. But I have used Airtel broadband services. And I am satisfying with their service. I have Airtel 512 KBPS plan and I only pay 550 rupees per months and it have unlimited downloading. And their services are also very good.

I am using cablenet from the past 2 years, and I get unlimited usage per month with 192 kpbs downloading speed per second and trust me its fast enough though not very good if you want to download files over 1 gb or so :D. You can download them but you will have to keep your pc on for the whole day which is not possible here due to power failures :). I pay 510 INR. per month for unlimited use and download, and I use internet for long hours which the limited plans won't allow me to use :). I have never tried BSNL and other broadband services and do not even intend to try one as long as this service is going on:), I am quite satisfied with what I get in the price I am paying :). Yess mobile internet plans are more cheaper but it would be better if they start providing fast speed internet connections :) Yeah I also look to the day when the internet unlimited plans become more and more cheaper :).

The problem with the internet now a days is that they have limited plans and they have very less download and upload plans like 1 GB per month, which would not be enough for people's use.

Yeah that is true. Internet costs in India are too high as compared to other countries. We can just hope that the costs reduce in future.

I am not a very tech-y person and I never really cared for speed and stuff. I got used to the unlimited DSL that I had in my previous apartment. When we moved, though, we had to switch to broadband and that's when I started learning a little about the speed and stuff. There are some affordable broadband plans now, the problem with that is that it has a lockdown period of a minimum of a year. Some prepaid unlimited broadband now also has a "Fair Usage Policy" where in you can only use up to 1G and then the internet access will be automatically cut off.

I also think it is better to chose unlimited plans because in unlimited plan we can use the internet as far as we can and whenever we wanted. In limited plans we can use internet only at limited times. I think speed also takes away the the storage we have. I hope the price of the internet unlimited comes down so that every person in the world can afford it.

My trouble isn't finding fast enough download speeds. My problem is finding a service provider that works the way I want it to. I'm stuck using a wireless connection and it keeps timing out every so often. I'm not too concerned. I'm thinking of getting cable. While speeds can very with any connection you have, the idea is to ensure you're getting what you pay for. For example I had clear. It worked fine for the first year in a half, but in August they went from "3g" to "4g". Since 4g is newer and recently released, it wasn't working despite the fact I was practaly on top of a tower. The complex I'm living in is a "potincial blind spot" for wireless service. So I'm not going to get a good enough signle no matter how much I try.
