there was a cry of a puppy in my neighborhood that woke me up.. when i got up and went out of my house to check, i saw that the very cute puppy was bleeding from his mouth( must have met an accident). the owner of the puppy was supposed to take him to a vet but instead he asked his maid to leave the suffering puppy in jungle. the maid took the puppy and returned empty handed... after this i went to the little bushes where he must have left the puppy but i could not find him... :(
most of us are so fond of having pet that sometimes we miss them a lot if we are out of home, away for few days... but for many of us its more like a status symbol to have a pet(dog, cat, fishes, birds..etc,.). do you really care if your pet is living a healthy life, if she/he is happy with the food provided, the shelter you have chosen for her/him???? of course they can't say anything but u don't need words to show your feelings.. the incident was heart breaking(for me and most of us) and life taking for the little pup... do u care for your pet??

that's a very nice thought but instead of putting one female, u put two females in the pond.. else those two males might fight for the female and you might loose another turtle.. take care of your turtles :)

i could leave the owner of that puppy bleeding in the jungle than leaving that puppy like that.
I really don't like those type of owners.
They treat animals as if they don't have feelings. If they couldn't take care of their pets then why bother getting one.
I love my pet dogs. They are more of like a family to us. We don't care how much we spend when they get sick as long as they'll be ok than that is really what matters most.

hahaha!... yeah... tie hie him up and leave him there.
h sounds like those owners i saw in tv. cutting the ears of his pitbull by himself using a pair of scissors to make it look tall... it got infected because obviously it wasn't the right thing to do. and he left him like that. good thing a neighbor reported about the matter and the dog was rescued.

I could not imagine doing anything that would harm my little puppy. You say that they cannot speak, and I have to disagree. No, my puppy cannot say things in actual words, but she does talk to me. If she is unhappy, she tells me through the look in her eyes, if she is happy, her little eyese sparkle and she has a distinctive smile on her face, is she is hungry, she picks her bowl up in her mouth and looks at me, if she wants attention, she brings me a toy so we can play, my puppy "talks" to me in many, many non-verbal ways.
Do I care for her? Yes, most definitively. I make sure she is happy and healthy, and that she gets plenty of love, affection and exercise. I treat my puppy like a member of the family because that is exactly what she is, a member of my family that depends on me to keep her safe, secure, happy, and healthy.
To think that someone would do such a cruel thing to that little puppy makes me want to cry. Maybe, just maybe, the maid took the puppy somewhere where the puupy could be taken care of, rather than leaving it out in the jungle to an uncertain future.

That owner was so cruel...I hope it won't happen to him. Anyway, my children are so caring to our pets, we have 5 dogs and 2 cats at home. And all of them were adopted. They came from neighbors who doesn't want to take care of their pets. My cats were taken from the streets by my children. My son once saw a kitten left in the rain in the middle of the street, he took it home, gave him a bath and fed him, now he's one of our source of happiness at home. My other dog was seen by my 10 yr. old daughter swimming in the flood waters when there was a big storm here. She tried to swim in the waist deep flood and took the puppy. She was so worried that the mother and the other puppies might be swept away by the flood. The puppy was about a month old when she took it. NOw the puppy is a now a full-grown up dog and healthy. I am blessed with a family who are pet loving and they are irritated when they see neighbors who mistreat their pet animals.

Yeah navintiwari08, I really cared for my pets kept which I loved them very much. I did keep a pet parrot during my childhood. I always took great care of it once I was at home. I fed it on time and kept its cage as clean as possible. Other than studying in school I spent most of my leisure time to get along with it. It's very lovely in its striking color of feathers. It's delicacy and adorable as well. I talked to it and shared everything I thought with it. It seemed like understanding what I's sharing with it
It's really sad that it was in laziness and didn't have any mood to eat and move for a few day. I felt really sad and sent it to the vet. It never recovered as healthy as before though dose was fed on time accordingly. After struggling for some days it passed away forever. Might be it had shorter lifespan as told by the vet. And we couldn't do anything, including taking real good care of to prolong the life of our loving pet. Since then I never like to keep any animal as pet anymore. I didn't like the feeling to part with my loving pet.
Happy posting and have a nice day

Yes, I love my pets, who are featured in a blog I have online. They are a Scottish terrier and a lovely long-haired cat. They play with each other, playing tag all over the house. The cat usually starts the game. Mr. Scotty sleeps with me each night and Gentleman Tom Cat sleeps with my daughter.
We love them enough to take care of them no matter what because they offer us unconditional love and it only seems right to return the same.

This post almost made me cry. :-( That owner is a piece of SH*T! Sorry, it made me so mad to hear that ANYONE would do this to a living thing! If I would of seen that and then noticed they just abandoned the puppy, I would probably take it in if I would of found him. I hope he is ok and that someone with a heart found him. That was very good of you to try and look for him. You were doing the right thing! I feel so bad for animals that get abused like that! Just makes me SO mad! I have a 5 year old Golden and she is my kid! I spoil her so bad! When I do things I think of her first being doing something. So, yes, I do take care of my pet. It is so bad though that I can't even look on the humane society website, because I feel so bad for all the animals that don't have homes. I work at a Vet hospital also and it is hard for me at times because I see sick animals. I guess your neighbor didn't really have a heart if he does something horrible like that.

It's sad how your neighbour treated the poor puppy. When somebody get a dog he is supposed to take care of the dog for its whole life. How could he leave it in the jungle when the poor dog needed his help the most? That owner deserve the same treatment: to be left in the jungle, bleeding.
I love my dog and I'd do anything to have her around me for as long as it is posible. I struggled a whole year to get my previous dog well, she was sick and all the vets in my town told me it's no use to fight any more. We went to a bigger hospital in a far away town, where she received the proper treatment. I didn't spare a penny for her health. Yet, I had to let her go when nothing more could be done to ease her pain.

I care for animals in general, its just that I don't have the means to help all them. I know its cruel to just leave animals behind when their suffering but sometimes we can't do anything to help them. I've encountered those simple cruelty a lot but all I can do is just feel pity on them even though I want to help it, I can't cause I don' have the means, the place, and the time to take care of them. Another sad truth about life.

Animal abuse is horrible and happens waaay too often all over the world. But I find that Karma has a way of taking care of these rotten people.

That is horrible! I have a lot of names for that guy (and even the maid) that come to mind but I can't say on here!
I LOVE my pets. My pets are my family and I spoil them as much as possible. They are my life and I could never do anything to hurt them.
I don't understand people who don't like animals, or mistreat them. They are strange beings to me.

Of course, I think what you described sounded very, very cruel! I cannot believe people do such things. I always take really good care of pets, because really, the owner is all they have, they are animals and can't call the vet etc. themselves, so it is really our responsibility!
