Yes a wifi hotspot with a security password is considered secured. Anyways try limiting your computers file sharing when you are connected to a wifi spot.

I think it is probably pretty safe. However, I always tried to refrain from the real important sites if possible. You know, like bank and credit card accounts and other super money type sites. It's probably safe, but I am always very careful and try to check those other places that are much more secure.

Wifi makes it convenient for us to get connected to Internet without staying in a fixed place. It's true that we may face some security problems when we surf online through Wifi. But I don't think the best way to solve these problems is not to use Wifi. There are some solutions to security problems. For instance, we could set passwords and make certain computers access to Wifi.

A few days ago I experienced an extra fast wi fi about 2.5 mbps. The laptop lost power so I did not spend much time under wi fi that much. So far no serious bugs has been detected.

It is if you are in your home or you have top notch security on your computer, but if you don't have top notch security, don't use it in public.

I have wifi here and I feel pretty much safe. Of course only a few of us are able to use it since it is encrypted. I love wifi. As for security, I'm sure developers will find ways for this..
