I recently joined a fun run event where in it is for saving the Pasig River in the Philippines. The estimated runners was 120,000 to have a 3 race category 3k,5k and 10k. Having so many runners determines that Filipino can unite for one reason and that is to save the Pasig River. This show "Bayanihan" is still applied now a day. I entered at 3k caterogy, most of us didn't have the chance to run but instead it turned out to be a walkathon. As for the 5k and 10k category their lucky to have a chance to experience the run. Having a huge amount of people in a running event I think is amazing how many people share the same interest but its disadvantage is that its too crowded. Do you think so?

Running for Ilog Pasig is really a worthy cause. i hope they get to relocate the squatters around the river so that disasters like Ondoy will not happen again. It's great that Filipinos are actually doing something for the rehabilitation of the river. Hurrah for the organizers and participants!!!
