Should MyLot Will Pay Us More If They Get Richer?

At present, I'm seeing a lot of progress with the group that handles myLot. The site has over 200,000 members now, they have acquired and SUCCESSFULLY implemented a LOT of additional ads. AND they recently came up with Cashgopher (Even though it's not directly affiliated with this site).
My question is, what happens when myLot reaches 1,000,000 members and they are able to earn from many ads and from a lot more addition to their revenue stream? Will the pioneer members get paid more? Will everyone get paid more?
I think we will. Like double what we make now. For everyone of course, myLot is fair that way. I have a lot of faith in this site and the company that manages it.
What are your speculations?

The membership amount can be deceiving my friend, as not all accounted for member are active. Some members leave the site and do not opt out. I have done some searching for old members and although they have never opted out it is clear that they never use the site any more. I have viewed the profile and their last activities and it was obvious that they did not return after a couple years or so.
myLot has been around for 5 years so if you look above the url address you can copy paste it and change this 2417667 to =3 which is actually the very first post on the site. There you will see many members that are no longer active. So although the bottom counter stipulates it's number does not mean that is the number of active members.

Oh wow that's a very interesting point you made there I forgot about that. So maybe out of 200,000 only half or even a fourth are still active huh?
Lol I'd love to see the very first post on this site! How'd you find out that method? Can't seem to understand it can you post the link? It's ok don't post if it's not allowed :D

@1MadMother : Wow I love hearing about the history of this site have you been with myLot since the start? And are you just on a new account that's why your post count is at 56 only right now?

I was involved in a discussion with Alice a week ago, she was the one that provided the information. Oh and yes 1Mad like many others from time to time have changed their accounts after returning so the numbers are not so accurate as the same member can be accounted more than once.

If they started making a ton of money off of us then yes it would be AWESOME if they paid us more but really I wouldnt expect them to. Just like any other business they want to earn as much money as they can. Giving us 1 cent for pictures and posts is pretty generous. I mean we can pretty much write about anything we want and still get paid for it. Its pretty incredible!

Well your idea of a pioneer member benefit would be cool but it would be hard as well with all the trolls that go around just rating everyone a negative just to lower their ranking and be men. I have you two positves on this discussion one for the original discussion you started and one for your comment back to me :)

Aw, thanks, shaggin! I've been doing the same lol I love giving out pluses. But only to comments that make sense of course. :P Hmmm, well in myLot FAQ they assured us that we cannot be attached by the negative sign they say they have a way of protecting us from abusers. I just hope they don't get out-trolled like you say. I doubt it will happen though this isn't a very troll-friendly site, right...? I'd love to see the site reach one million members and know that I was at least in the first one fourth When that happens I really do hope the site blows up like crazy, like more ways to earn like games and bigger earnings and stuff. And I guess as pioneering members, the advantage we can have at the very least is knowing the ropes already before everybody else, we'll know earlier than the rest like when they released Cash Gopher. Can't wait for myLot's next big thing. Thanks for the positives, shaggin! Been returning the favor apparently! +!

You're right that would be awesome! Finally someone who completely agrees! Just daydreaming but I imagine if they really hit it big we may even be paid 5 cents per post! And imagine if you even had a high rank and lotsa posts and they implemented a "pioneer member" benefit type thing? Wow, lol I wish that day will come but yes they are generous enough as it is.

I agree. :) This is a lot more of a community or a tribe if you will than a forum. We are all part of this business now and have invested a lot of our time and effort into it working with the admins and abiding by their rules. They are like the chiefs of the Tribe. And when the tribe leader gets richer, everyone under him enjoys the benefits. I really wish myLot well and I hope that ticker at the bottom of the page skyrockets. :P +!

To tell you the truth, I have never speculate on my earnings here. I do hope each month to reach the minimum payment although there are lots of reasons why sometimes it doesn´t work. Mylot is, for me, a place to socialise with people all around the world. If I get paid more some day: GOOD!!! If I don´t, I don´t mind. I have fun here as it is. If mylot is an economic success, it will be online for a long time and I´ll have fun for years.

I'm with you on this! I don't doubt for a second that myLot will endure and last for decades! I just like to daydream about like maybe 2 maybe 5 years down the road and we all together have had built a great community that holds a million members and still able to function well and maybe even better and more ways of earning and a lot more earning. sigh . Thanks for your response marguicha! I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of each other in the next few years here. I have a feeling neither of us will be leaving any time soon. :P +!

it will be great if mylot can increase their pay. i hope that will happen some day. of course, if mylot can increase their pay, there will be more people joining also. anyway i don't mind if they didn't increase their payment, i like this site and i just wish that it won't turn out to be scam.

Lol I don't think scam would be an appropriate word if myLot stops paying. It's been too trusted for so many years and have conducted business very well. If they ever stop paying it would just be due to bad business moves. Which I doubt will happen since they seem to have a good grasp of their audience and their business. It's no facebook but it runs well, very well. Also good point that if they increase earnings more people will join! I was thinking it was other way around, first more people will join then they can increase earnings. Well, now I'm obsessed looking at the myLot population at the bottom of the page. Everyday it goes up in numbers bit by bit. :P

i hope yeah if my lot gets richer it is because of their dedicated members like us who will make them rich so they must reward the members for working hard.more people who brings more people to my lot make them richer to so in return they must increase their rates to the members to.

Lol yeah a lot of us have invested a lot of our time and effort into making this site into the community that it is I'm guessing we will probably have some sense of entitlement when that do happens. I'm just happy to see the myLot population counter below go up in number everyday because it just means more people for us to discuss and share ideas with. I hope to see that at one million one day. :P +!

I think they should pay more. It's only ethical. Without their users, this site would be worth nothing and that should be remembered. Not that I don't appreciate the value of chatting with a lot of people on this site, but although that's great, that can be done on a lot of sites. There are a ton of sites on the internet now that would love to have so many users. So the people here that are building up this community should definately be appreciated. This is an entirely user-driven site and if people stopped joining it wouldn't even exist anymore.

I agree that is the ethical thing to do. And since admin is so transparent and fair with their members I don't doubt for a minute that they will do the right thing when the time comes. I'm only daydreaming on the fact that one day it will be 1 million members. Maybe in 2 or 5 years? I'm wondering if we'll get any benefits as the first few hundred thousand [pioneering] members such as a higher pay rate per post for us? Or even for everyone. Maybe they will put in a new rating system or upgrade the one we have now. I'm getting excited just thinking about it. Imagine millions of members here, like Facebook, but only with less "BS" and a little more polite...? Thanks for the response, paige! Very insightful! +!
