I saw the first ever discussion made here on myLot and found it so funny, in a good way, cos it's so different from how members here respond now. I guess members were still getting a feel for the site when it was so new that no one had too much of an idea what was going on. And the thread is still active until today!

Thanks to hardworkinggurl and 1MadMother for giving me this link! If it weren't for them I would never have come across this genius page. Some of the comments made me laugh it made my day. :P Admins, I'm pretty sure if posting this link in my own discussion is allowed, but it's too good not to share.

I love how far the site has gone. I can't believe it's only 5 years old. It's so well put together and so much a part of the web online earning method that it seems to have been around for more than a decade.

I've been here for the last year and a half of its existence! My question is if you have been here for five years how do you have only 419 posts? That's only ten a year, less than one a month! lol!

Lol no I've been a member of the site for two years and started being active this year! To be honest I was as clueless as the posters there in the first discussion at first that's why it took me a full year to start getting active lol. I didn't know back then how fun this community can be and that we can really earn from just having fun like this. :P

I think I have only seen one design change, but a few other changes. It's still a great place to hang out with all my international friends though,and I have learned so much!!

Wow, thanks for sharing that..I remember my own first posts, some which never got replied to and how lost I was..My question is, when did mylot hit the 5 year milestone? what exact date, anyone know?

Plus, this user has not signed in since this post and yet they have sharonbucks as a friend??? How is that possible, Sharonbucks is not that old..

Well according to a myLot pioneering member who posted on my other discussion, myLot has yet to reach its 5 year milestone, because myLot was opened at April 2006. Why those discussions are dated 5 years ago, I don't know. Maybe they were testing it out at that time. It was just awfully funny to see how responding now is so different because the rules are already laid out and very prominent for everyone. Seeing this 5 year old discussion just made me smile to see that myLot was also once silly.
As for the user, the one with one post? If he's friends with Sharonbucks then I'm guessing he is also one of the pioneering myLot members. Because Sharonbucks also has only 1 post to her name until now. Maybe that's the admin signature. 
Nonetheless, those responses were legendary. I'll check back there from time to time to see if there are any new responses. I love that people are still responding there as near as just a month ago.
