If you had the chance to live forever would you do it??

It depends on if I were the only person who had this choice, or if there were others. If others also had this choice, then maybe I would too--kind of like when humans in Greek or Roman mythology are made immortal--there are several others like them to communicate and be with, they are in the prime of life forever, and can still interact with humankind. If I were the only one given this choice, then I would decline for the same reason every else has expressed--I would hate to lose so many loved ones and not have anyone to share my full life with.

When I was a teenager I read All men are mortal by Simone de Beauvoir. At that moment I decided that I would not want to live forever by any means. It is not only that the people you care about start to die: that also happens in any normal life. The worst thing is that when you have all the time in the world, there´s nothing at all that you care to do. You can find new people to surround you but it is the sense of mortality that gives a real sense to our life on earth.

i will not... same reason as you are.. but if they will give me a chance to live again... i will.. i will accept it with all my heart.. because to live in this world is the most precious thing that you will receive in God...

I think if I get chance for living forever then I want to visiting whole worlds and want to meet different-2 peoples and want to care for them. Because there are many fewer people who always give help to strangers but I really want to help to persons who really needed. So I want to visit whole worlds and want to know the problem s of the peoples.

Man, this sounds like a vampire calling. I don't wanna live forever. I even wanna die now. The world is so depressing to live in. If the world is a vampire... then it already sucked the life out of me... and yet here I am alive... what more if I have to live forever.

No, that would suck because you would live to see everyone who you've ever loved die.
