I just came across the news story of the toxic spill in Hungary.

Are you also becoming concerned that mankind is creating very dangerous situations that could cause some huge disasters in the near future? Do we really know what we are doing?
We have been looking at Science as some sort of Savior. Might it be that this same Science might lead us to some irreversible calamity? Think Chernobyl! Think Gulf oil spill! And now Hungary!
Are you concerned?

Yes, I am concerned, because whatever affects one part of the world eventually comes to affect all parts of the world, it might be environmentally, but could be economically, or socially or many other ways. This is true whether the disaster is natural, like hurricanes and tornadoes and volcanoes or man made like your examples.

What you said made me think of a swimming pool, wherever one urinates, it will eventually end up on everyone. And the more people urinate in the pool the worse it will get. Science is great but we have no vision of the effect some things we are doing will have in the future. That pollution will eventually affect a lot of people, just like Chernobyl and the Gulf spill. I'm beginning to see that all the prophecies about a great time of trouble are being fulfilled right before our very eyes. Sadly most people just want to ignore the whole thing. Man doesn't have what it takes to run the world only to ruin it. We have the science but we lack the wisdom and the foresight.

It looks like greed continues to win over wisdom and care for others. Lots of innocent victims as many times before.
This is again a proof of that we need a heavenly government - the human ones have failed miserably.

And may God's kingdom or government come soon. We certainly need superhuman help to get out of the mess that corrupt humans are making of this beautiful planet.
