I am definitely in favor of this bill. What is the argument all about anyway? This bill is not against life nor will it go against what God wants. It is just about how we can control population explosion and poverty. Since we all know that the Philippines is one of those still developing countries. And poverty is very rampant in the country. If this bill will be passed then population control will begun. And there will be less burden for such a big population the country have. If I were the president, I will readily pass this bill without any hesitation. The Church just couldnt see how many street children there is in the country. How many families have nothing to eat because they dont know how to control. By controlling means not abortion. This is why the church is against it because they thought this bill is about abortion. There is nothing wrong with contraception, and there is totally nothing wrong in wanting your children to have better future.

Your right we should not argue with this but at least try to understand that we have different views in life.I also agree with this as you said its not the matter of anti- or pro life but trying to awaken as the threat brought by the uncontrollable population and this was just trying to help us in population management.I like the way you have been discuss your point.Directly but with sense. Thanks for commenting

i am for the REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH BILL. this bill is most beneficial to couples who would rather choose to have fewer children so that they would be able to give their children the best care, attention and love. i am a catholic and i do not agree with their stand on this matter. it is the couples choice as to what they would choose as a method for family planning. the government is just doing its job in informing its people that there are options in the problem of ballooning of our population.

Hi there!I also agree with this bill.Am also catholic and I think that we should not link the church issue in this bill because let us face the real scenario that we are burden with too much problem brought by the increasing number of population. It is beneficial especially to the couples that wanted fewer number of child. The bill was not intended to contradict the church belief but just to educate parents in smart family planning. However i still respect those who are not in favor with this.

As a concerned citizen in this country, I am also in favor of this reproductive bill.Just imagine yourself if we are overpopulated.....Foods are not enough, spaces are scarce and even water cannot accommodate us anymore...True as it may seem, but today we are overpopulated....We are suffering from poverty...How can we still overcome this kind of dilemma if we are very busy reproducing,,,,We cannot solve it today, how much more in the near future,,,,,,I do hope that religious people may understand....we are also thinking for our future and for the future generation....
