What really is Facebook?

It's an addictive social networking site where you can post everything and anything you please. Nowadays, it's also becoming a shopping site for some. If you want to be a member all you have to do is add up your email address and the rest of the info there. Because of the danger it imposes, the admin allows you to choose privacy setting which would mean it's up to you to allow yourself to be exposed in public coz everyone can see what you post. What's good about facebook is that you can meet relatives you've not seen for a long time, former classmates and teachers too.

Facebook is a social networking site. You can follow their instructions for posting pictures and information about yourself. Many people use Facebook to find old friends or family members. A word of caution, however, don't put really personal and private information on your Facebook page. I won't put my street address or other personal information on the site. Be sure to choose who you want to have access to your file and pictures. I decided that I only want my friends to see my pictures and the more personal items that I post. If you have young children, DO NOT list their full names or addresses as there are too many weirdo's out there and you don't want your children pictures and information to end up on some strangers website or have strangers know where your children live. Unfortunately, it is a dangerous world out there. Use the social network sites if you want to, but be careful!
