hi everyone! im just in a good mood the the other day... and well today is not so bad as well.
when my mom and i was in the shopping mall last saturday she asked me to pay for the lottery ticket and so there - i was giving the money to the lady and then she would not let me play the lottery. she said what is your age, miss?
haha i was surprised and happy about that! really- im already 29years old! hihih and she thought i was a minor?! wow!!!
Oh, and today - i got a compliment from a co-worker. I was teaching him somethings he said he needs clarified. I asked if its okay if i teach him again on that one (i know my other officemate already taught him how to do this). And after our session, he told me, now I already know how to do this. i understand it now... you are a good teacher!
=) Ahh these little things can really make your day a bit brighter, don't you think?!
Share yours!! =)

seems like too early for me to hear compliments but judging form the time you posted this, i'd say that within 21 hours I was able to hear one or two compliments.:)
I don't go out that much an\d more often than not the only person I get to communicate every day are my children and hubby. Though, there are virtual friends, too, but I don't take them seriously, complimenting wise.:)
It was last night that my daughter told me before dozing off that she loves me more and that I am the best Mom. Well, nothing can top that. :)

Oh wow, you must be looking really young to be asked like that
Hmm, mine today isn't as grand as yours people, but I'm new to my class and I appreciated the fact that my History teacher found my homework grand and decent enough. Atleast I know that I'm doing well on my first few weeks at class, I hope to be better :]

Wow, it is good that you look young
I have not receive any compliment for today yet...
I really enjoyed watching my son enjoying the food
that I cooked for him. If I cook something that he
likes, he will jumped in joy and said 'Thank you,
thank you' with all his heart with sincerity. He
would say that I can always name this recipe and sell,
it would sells well. It is really 'feeling good' to
receive such compliment

Nice question you posted :) I was thinking for one and something just came up my mind which happened this afternoon at our workplace. We were talking about having all us rationalize... meaning all of us will have higher position and pay us well one of these days. I kiddingly told them that this time though I just wanted to be a staff instead of having big responsibilities. So I told one colleague that if ever, I wanted to be under her wing. She replied that I'm over qualified since I'm already a boss in my unit. I told her that I'll turn-over my position to my assistant because I just wanted to simply be a staff. Then when I went to another department, who overheard the discussion told asked if I really wanted to give up my position. Well, yes but I told her that I'm not interested in hers as it requires lots of travels. I don't know if she was just flattering me but she said that I couldn't take positions similar to that of hers because I'm already a boss. Whoaa! never have I thought that my colleagues see me as a boss. I have always consider me as a slave hehehe. anyway, that's enough to be good to be true compliment for today. Being a boss or slave doesn't actually matter to me. All I wanted this time is to have lesser responsibilities at work. Infact, I'm entertaining thoughts of resigning just to be a housewife for my remaining years in the service. I guess am burnt-out and needed a break.

It's true that it's really nice to receive compliments, from people you barely know and from people you're close to. Yesterday i was singing on stage and someone handed me this paper that says "yvonne, everyday you bring good memories to be cherished" :) it made me blush and i feel so special. it's refreshing when someone appreciates what you do and what you show.

When I was in my twenties, I would go into a car dealer's parking lot where the salesperson, thinking I was underage, would ask me if my parents was buying the car for me. I would just say, "Boy, I wish they would." I have always looked younger than I am. Even at 51, some people still refer to or address me as "young man". Sometimes it makes me feel good and sometimes I just laugh to myself. If you look younger than your age, enjoy it while it lasts!

Well, it wasn't an actual compliment, but it still made my day: the boss from my previous job called just to ask how I was doing, and to tell me they'd accept me back any time, if I wanted to return. This person is not really a friend of mine, she only called me two or three times about work-related stuff, so it seems they really miss me... and that's great, from my point of view :)
