MyLot should have a spell checker feature

I must admit that I have often thought that! My computer does underline a word when it's spelt wrong,but it doesn't give a correction.

well chrome has a built in spell check but i would be glad if mylot has this feature.

You don't need to have a spell-checker in mylot. just use the mozilla when logging in here in mylot.

That would be nice, would it? Of course, it is rather non important for me, not because I have the greatest spelling and grammar in the world, because quite frankly, I do not. Still, Firefox has a spell check and that is where I do the vast majority of my posting for myLot on. Granted, there are times where I do run some of the longer posts through Word and spell check before I post them up. I do think that an edit post function would be great however. There are times where I think of a little extra or see a little mistake that I wish I had not made. A small typo that is not a spelling mistake, but similar to another word. I just wish there was some way to edit posts. That is my one pet peeve about this website that there is no way to edit posts. Still, I'll live without it but it would be nice.

Just use firefox or chrome new version.. this facility is already their. So no need to provide individual spell checker from mylot.. But yes they don't detect grammar mistakes.. But may be it is hard .. But as you have crossed 500 rating then you can write your post first on ms word and then copy paste here.. MS word do provide grammar checking :)

What could happen if you respond spelling wrong words here?

It’s a pretty good idea. I don’t use firefox and English is not my native language. I always make sure that my posts is in a correct grammar and spelling, so it’s been my habit to write in Microsoft word first before posting it here in mylot. Microsoft word has been a help for me.

Hi friend, thats a nice idea.. but if you use firefox browser it does a spell check so before hittign post response you can correct if any mistakes.. try it out..
