While its true that we need money to make ends meet , Is money really the END or the Means? For me, money only provides the means to buy food for sustenance, money is just a means to make you happy. For some, however, money has evolved to be their Gods, they talk about it day in day out... until the end of their days. What is your opinion on this? Please share in this discussion.

A "means". To me, money is just a measurement of your talents being put to used in service to others. The bigger the talent used, the greater the service done for others, the bigger the amount of money entering your purse!
Take a look at this word progression:
Talent = Thaler = Tholar = Dollar
Talent is indeed equivalent to "dollar".

Money is necessary to be able to survive. Without it, none of us would get very far. It is true though that there are some that the more they have the more they want, and they aren't satisfied. It is sad when that happens, as you are right that they use money as a god and they feel that they just have to have it. If money were used in the right way, it wouldn't be so bad, but people will put themselves in debt because they spend like crazy like there is no tomorrow, and then they end up paying for it in the long run. We all have to know our limitations and stick by that and we won't end up in a bad way. Now I will have to admit, I used to be like that, but I grew up in a big hurry, and since my divorce after being married for 35 years, well, I had to learn to make it on my own, and it hasn't always been a bed of roses, but somehow, I have made it through, and I am glad about that. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
