today I read a news saying working with a laptop on the lap frequently can lead to a disease called "toasted skin syndrome" , when you use you laptop on your lap for a long time, the laptop will get hot, the heat is bad for our skin, so if you have this habit before, pay attention to it.

Good day to you Mandy8611,
With reference to your main topic, it is truly indeed that when a laptop is being placed over your lap, the tendency is, your skin will be irritated. First and foremost, due to the heat that the laptop is diffusing. Second, the ignition of the machine itself towards your skin will somehow cause an itchiness. Lastly, the effect of the heat plus the combination of the itchy feeling, that might lead to some skin allergies.
For this reason, though it was called a laptop, it is not advisable to always putting it over on your lap. Perhaps, it will be best if you have a laptop board with you where you can place your laptop and not directly to your lap skin.
Have a nice day Mandy8611.

I have also heard that young man can get testicular cancer from holding their laptops in their laps too long. I hear that my brother-in-laws brother got testicular cancer that way. You have to be careful.
Of course, the same thing has been said about cell phones causing cancer, too. I have promised myself that I will only use my cell phone with headphones when driving. Trying to drive with a cellphone in one hand while driving may not get you killed but may kill someone else, because that driving isn't paying all of their attention on the road. I have been cut of by many drivers yaking on their cellphones.

thank you for your reminder .
I just want to protect my laptop and to hope using my laptop longer ,so I never put my laptop on my lap(if you put it on your lap ,the laptop will heat than usual).
