Do you guide yourself or seek the guidance of god,,,?

Many people claim that they have solved their problems on their own.One way it is self confidence.Some say that God guided them in solving their problems.Irrespective of religion these are the statements that people make.No doubt human efforts and intelligtence are required to solve our problems.Some times people help each other in finding suitable solutions for problem.That is a noble human quality.We have to find solutions for ourselves either on our own or with the help of some one or others.Then why some people attribute their success to God.Is it due to their faith in god or their humility not to claim self credit for their sauccessCan any onne tell me ..?

This is my thinking:
X is very intelligent. X works hard. X is talented enough to get through the exams.
But X must be healthy on the exam day. X should not meet with any accident on the exam day. Can X do this all on his own. X needs somebody to do this all. After preparing his exams if X ask the God to keep everything all right, that will be so nice. At the same time if X ask the God to keep everything okey, without a hard work it will not be nice.
i lead my life in this way. it is correct for me.

Thankyou for accept my response as the best response. Actually I was very satisfied when writing this response. I should say thanks to you for starting a discussion like this. Here in Germany when we bring a sever patient to the (highly educated) doctors they simply say, "Pray to God". And then they do their best duty. We loose nothing by accepting god and we gain nothing by denying God. In my account, people, who deny god, are in a frustrated mind stage. If we pour love on them they will accept the God.

It is all love and compassion in this word.God never wants us to hate each other but we do.Very pitiable situation.It is only trust in God and as Miton in his epic verse Mote de Arthur that more things are wrought by prayer than this world can dream of..May God bless you...

I think it is mostly depend upon the situation we face. Sometime things are happen in magical way which is we never thought and give us a huge pleasure and success but off course our hard work comes in regular way.

Regular hard work is necessary for sucess.OK.. But sometimes we do not get expected result.We do not know why. In case we seek the guidance of God in every walk of life I think the results will be pleasant.The work we should do and we cannot expect God to do our work for us.Our effects and blessings of god are both necessary for successful life....
