Do you pity the people who dies crossing the street when they are not supposed to? Honestly, I do not. I even think, it is their fault that they died. If they did not cross the street where they are not supposed to cross then they would still be alive. Its just plain commonsense. Even dogs, does not cross where they think they will die, let alone humans. Now, its different when a person crossed the street using the pedestrian lane and still gets ran over a vehicle. Its the driver's fault already if that is the case. But if there are ways to walk for pedestrians and there are under pass or overpass and still people are so stubborn and not using proper place to cross and would rather cross in a highway.. then I think they deserve to die.

To a car driver, it is very painful to have to stop the car abruptly to let someone cross the street where they are not suppose to. I don't see it as "anyone's fault" because I believe it's the government's. If there were more convenient stop signs and traffic lights, none of this would happen. It's true that the traffic lights and stop signs are built in a whole bunch of useless places.

How did it become the government's fault? The government did not tell the people to cross where people would die. Its the person crossing the street's fault. Underpass and overpass were made for people who walks. Subways, for other countries. Those are made for pedestrians by the government. Now, its the person's fault already if they will not use those places to cross from street to street. Its just the matter of FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS.
