Hi there sathish,
YES I believe sleep is very essential for our body to regain the energy we have used up through different activities we do.. Speaking of sleep, I only get 6 hours of sleep for the whole day.. But I think it's enough for me.. I just get so tired easily.. I can only do specific things or else I turn out to be worn out..
Lack of sleep makes us sickly, and yes I think lack of sleep affects our blood pressure also.. But also, too much sleep isn't healthy at all.. So we better get just enough sleep that our body needs in order to be healthy and energized..

I like sleeping. I feel good when sleep. But when I sleep much at noon, I usually feel tired after waking up. So I think we should sleep at noon about 30 minutes to 1 hour to rest. We shouldn't sleep longer.
We should get enough sleep. We can get up early to go to work in time easily if we go to bed early. We have been tired all day, sleeping gives me relax. If we go to bed late and on tomorrow morning, we have to get up early, We won't be awake to work effectively, we will feel sleepy all day. It is not good for us.
I have met this case many times. And at that time I hoped I had gone to bed early yesterday anh I could go home to sleep.
Now I feel sleepy. Good night, every body!

Sleeping a lot is a good thing! My experience says that I need to sleep at least 7 hours to be 'fit' the next day :-)
Thanks for the more scientific explaination of sleeping ;-)
