Yes, I am proud to say that I am also a collector. I am interested in collecting ball point pens and I have about 2200 ball point pens without any duplicates and this collection of mine was biggest in its catagory and the same was acknowledged by Limca Book of Records a National Record Keeping Book in the year 2000. Now a days because of my pre occupation I am not actively into this collection.
Another collection in which I am really interested is collection of Historical One Rupee coins and also mint freaks of one rupee cpins. So far I have some 140 coins. The oldest one dates back to 1542 AH issued by Sher Shah Suri and it is the first rupee ever introduced in any country. It is having a great history and good antique value. The countries which have Rupee as its currency are Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Mauritious, India, Sychelles etc. I practically have atleast some coinsrepresenting each of these countries. My collection includes some pure Silver cpins and some mixed silver coins, coins made of nickle and yellow metal. I enjoy this collection of mine and I am a record holder in India in this catagory and my name has been included in Limca book for this collection way back in the year 2000.
Thsnk you it was a nice topic, rather topic of my interest and I enjoyed of participating in it!

I collect comic books, my own sketch books, video games, and music. I really don't like to collect things because you become more attached to them and they are just possessions so its just another thing to worry about loosing.
Have you ever notice that there are a lot of middle aged women who collect a certain kind of figurine? I have seen women collect pig, cow, clown, snow man, dog, bell, eagle, and fairy figurines. I have never seen a man collect "nick nacks" of any kind.

hi insulin will you believe I have an elephant, a kangaroo, a lion, a bear,Garfield the cat, a horsey, a lady bug, a pink little pig, a dodod bird, a cow, a duck, a moose, a unicorn, and many more all soft cute
'funny and sweet beanie babies oh and two different bears too and many others. they are in two large baskets on my bureau. I wa nted to sit them on the head board of my bed but the staff here have no sense of humor at all. I have gathered them over the years starting out with three that were left in the library and never reclaimed so I was allowed to have them. from then on I was hooked and they are all genuine beanie babies some of them worth a bit of money too.

I think everybody likes to collect something, may they be material things or not. There are people who like to collect stamps, coins or other things like that, but there are people who like to "collect" poetries, stories and songs in their minds.
Back to your topic, I like to collect different type of photos, but on the computer, not on paper. And I like to collect quality music on my computer and I have many computer game collections which I would never sell. I think this can be considered as a collection like every other collection. Do you agree?

I used to collect stamps, long long time ago. I have some 300-400 stamps. Nowadays I am trying to "collect" some cents from Mylot. I hope I "collect" many of them.

I collect books. The real ones with pages and covers. I will never be a Kindle user. I still prefer the feel of an old-fashioned book in my hands.
I've been collecting books since I was in grade school. From Sweet Valley Kids, Teens, High and up until University, I had them all. When I hit my teens, I was into historical romance novels written by Judigh McNaught. I read everything. Fiction or Non-fiction. If I like the way a certain author writes, I hunt down every book that person has ever written and I buy it. ^.^

I've collected various things throughout the years. I used to collect happy meal toys many years ago. It got to the point where the workers knew what I wanted whenever I went in. I did this for a few years and amassed hundreds of different toys. I eventually ending up giving a lot of them away to kids I knew. Then around 10 years ago I started collecting anime and manga (Japanese comic books) and my collection is still growing. The pace isn't as rapid as it used to be though (the DVDS and books are kind of expensive). So far, I own over 300 DVDs and over 500 volumes of manga. I've also branched out to collecting related wallscrolls, soundtracks, figurines and other miscellaneous items.

Yes I am, but not that dedicated. I used to collect quarters with different states on it so far I collected 32 different quarters. I used to collect Sailor Moon trading cards too when I was still a child.
But the best collections I have are happy memories and experience with my loved one. :)
