I have food allergies, also and I hate it. I can't eat pork, peanuts, sunflower seeds and so on, without getting hives and itching really bad. I take an antihistamine when it gets really bad, but that makes me sleepy, so I put up with a lot of itching first. I have some other kind of allergy that's like hay fever, but I don't know what causes it yet.

Ouch. How I missed shrimp. Five years ago, I love seafood. But I got an allergy to it, particularly with shrimps. And recently, I discovered that I also got dust allergy. It was so hard having this ailment. I could not enjoy the things I love before. So I'm alwasy discreet in taking food, I have to ask first if there is seafood in its ingredients. That's disgusting. I just hope someday this can be cured and get over it.

I have lots of it. Food, skin, medications. For food it would be seafood and it would make me get rashes and really hard time breathing. Am also sensitive and allergic to perfumes and dust. That gives me serious rashes as well. And the worst part for medications, I'm allergic to pain killers, or anything else with Ibuprofen on it. There are other medications where I'm allergic as well besides that but I forgot already x.x

hello insulin!
i have allergies ever since i can remember. it varies actually, but they're most skin allergies, caused by the food i eat and the weather. when i was younger, i often go to school with bandages over my fingers. i was so sensitive to dust, plants and soil that i can't touch one without my fingers breaking into lesions that are so itchy. then when i grew older, i get hives everytime i touches something cold or everytime i took a batch. i had these itchy hives all over my body. at first it terrified me so much i thought i was going to die from it. and then lately, i got food allergy from chicken and some vegetables. my lips would break into rashes that are so painful, i have a hard time eating.
my doctor told me that this is a lifetime diseease. once you are allergy to something, you will be forever allergic. i just must avoid those which triggers the allergic reaction so as not to blow it all out of proportion.

I am not sure if this could be considered as allergy but I always thought that I am allergic to human sweat. Every time I do things that makes me sweat a lot, rashes are starting to build up and I really have to take a bath as soon as possible. That is why I am always worried every time the summer season comes because I will have to bear this problem for months. This is also the reason why I am not comfortable to be seated beside a person in public transportation especially if our skins would meet. I have a very bad experience with this type when I was in college. I happen to be wearing sleeveless and the woman seated beside me wears the same. The travel will take about 20 minutes and before we reach our destination I felt something below my shoulder and when I checked it I saw rashes building up.

I am allergic to chicken. I get these bumps on my skin but I still eat chicken a lot. It doesn't happen all the time now, though. I have allergic rhinitis which means I am allergic to dust, pollen and strong scents (like perfume). I just make it a point to stay away from these. Well, for dust, it is impossible to stay away from it but I do cover my nose when there are lots of it.

I have allergies to dust and some foul odors like that of paint, varnish and the likes. I also have allergy on local chocolates. I've observed that when I eat local chocolate, I would sneeze and sneeze the same way when I get exposed to too much dust and foul odors. I have allergic rhinitis and it is really bothersome.

I'm allergic to dairy. Sigh. For some stupid reason, drinking milk or eating yogurt makes me break out and wheeze. I haven't stopped drinking milk altogether, and I'll never ever ever stop eating ice cream. But my doctor has advised that I try o minimize the quantity of my dairy consumption.
And molds trigger my asthma. Molds are evil.
