I remember when our car stalled on the highway it was about 25 years ago the transmission went out on us and I was pregnant with my firstborn I almost 9 months along and I really had to go to the bathroom
We were driving along and all of a sudden the car started to loose speed so my husband had to pull over luckily the shoulder was nice and wide because it was at night and we didn't have any flairs we had to wait for about an hour for the AAA to come .
My husband told me the story of how he was going back to college during the holidays it was snowing and he had to ride up in an old 69 Cougar and it stalled on him as he was going up very steep hillside during a snow storm and his lights went dead he eventually got out of the situation someone stopped and helped him out a truck driver gave him a ride
Anyone else have any stories about their cars breaking down on the road?

Not that long ago actually, I had something happen while I was driving. I had just picked up my son and along the way I started to smell something like rubber burning. Then all of a sudden, pop! The tire blew out. I guess something under the car was slicing through the tire and that's what was making the burning smell.
The lucky thing was, it popped right in front of a service centre, so I just pulled into their parking lot and got it fixed there. It wasn't cheap though; nearly 800$ The mechanic said I was lucky it didn't happen on the highway. If it had been about an hour later, that's exactly where I would have been because I had to go pick my honey up from work.

HI,
There was once I drove a car to shopping mall with my sister and
mother , we went for shopping and on the way back, I just drove less than a minute and I felt there is some sound from the car and it seem the wheel
got problem...Oh gosh, my car tyre was punctured very badly and to be frank,
I really don't know how to change to new tyre.
Lucky, there are some guys out there who helped me to
change new tyre and i gave him some tips for helping me.
it was my first experience having tyre pucnture since I was driving.

My worst ever was, when I was leaving my ex-husband, which yet another long story, but I left with my baby at midnight and it was pouring rain. I was going to a friends for the night so I could clear my head and the car broke down in the worst neighborhood you can imagine.
I wan not only scared out of my wits as it was so late, with a crying baby and difficulty holding the baby along with the umbrella. I prayed the entire way as I walked through the scary neighborhood.
Fortunately I and the baby made it there safe. I almost wanted to leave the car abandoned as I was feeling so vulnerable that I really did not want to even go back to the car.
