I just finished reading the 7th book of Harry Potter Series and I find it too long for just 2 movie. There are too many scenes. I am excited on how they made the movie but I am worried because what if they remove other important details like what the writers did in "Angels and Demon". So I will cross my finger that they will make the last to movies as good as the previous movies.

It's my first time to hear that kind of phobia. Nope I did not read all the seven books. I just read the last book. I just bought the books from ebay last month. Since the last book will be shown in theaters this year I decided to start with the last books. I found it too long but I admire how JK write a novel. By the way, if it is not too personal too you can you tell me why Harry Potter is your nightmare? Tomorrow I am planning to read the first book.

i actually believe that they can make it just right for us fans. most of the past movies were satisfactory. you can't change the fact that the books will always be better but if we set it aside for a while, we will realize that they probably made the movies just as good. it's the draw back of reading the book before the movie, you compare it and always notice what they took out and what they added that it's hard to appreciate the movie anymore. but it's cool. i personally like the way the movies came out except for the parts where there are hermione/ron and ginny/harry scenes when there shouldn't really be. :D

I have the same concern. I want the movie to put all the important details and I'm scared they won't have enough time to do that. I've read all the harry potter books and none of the movies were able to put almost all the important details into the movie. I hope I won't be disappointed with the coming movie.

I think your worry is justified. If you haven't read the other books, then you are unaware that they have left out many details and what I find to be important parts of the story. The directors have done an 'okay' job at covering it up. I won't go into too much detail, don't want to ruin anything for your reading experience, but just be ready for some ommissions.
