Which do you prefer, wearing contact lens or eye glasses?

For me, i never tried to wear contact lens, not because, i cannot afford it, coz, my friend told me that it has more of disadvantages than advantages. This is the reason why i use eye glasses, since there are variety of eye glasses in the market, you have a wide brands to choose from. Besides, when i wear eye glasses, i look like am genius, intelligent and respectfull. Do you share the same view with me?

Well...i wear both. When I'm in the office I wear eyeglasses. It gives me sharper vision as compared to contact lenses. When I am at home or when I go outdoors, I wear contact lenses. It's more comfortable and I don't take it off like I do when I wear my glasses on. Oftentimes, it may be sort of fashion but of course it's only the second reason of wearing one. The main reason still is due to eye defect or illness. I would suggest that if someone has no eye problem at all, better not use contact lenses, only for fashion. You may be beautiful today but it may cause you to be blind or you might develop an eye problem in the following days... ^_^

if you like how glasses make you look then you might as well keep wearing them. i don't like them much, they look fine but they give me a headache and get steamed up in the rain. contact lenses are more like having good vision again and are much better for sports.

Glasses give sharper vision. And I still want wearing them. But it's too uncomfortable when I do some physical activities. I wear contact lenses outdoors. There are several disadvantages in wearing contact lenses:
1. You can't wear them for more than 8 hours
2. You have to change it depending on the allowable period (1 month, 3 mons., etc.)
3. Your vision is not as sharp compared to eye glasses
It all depends on the preference of a person and on how it would be useful or helpful to them. ^_^
