Off-line or Online Earning (Hard or Smart?)

We've all heard the phrase, that it is better to work smarter than harder. Although both ways will yield you some success, depending on how much you decide to work. For me when I was very active only, I made around $200-$300 bi-monthly for a while, working exclusively online, the way I considered smarter; simply because I determined how much I would make or not make within that given month.
However years ago, I would work a part-time job in addition to a full-time job. My part-time job would take me away from family and sleep (which everyone needs, right?) and both were extremely important to me. Which was the primary reason I decided to work less physically on a part-time job and work more intellectually online.
Don't get me wrong, both have their place. While working more physically, the rewards are pretty much right-away and easy, based on the type of part-time job, your background and skill-set. While working online more intellectually, the rewards are NOT as rewarding, but are usually extremely easy, and usually don't require a particular background or skill-set, depending on the site(s) that you are working with/for.
The reason for this discussion is simply point out that there are thousands of ways to earn money online and off-line. There are hundreds of things that at are available to many people despite the background that you presently possess or don't have. If you want more, then you have to continue searching for whatever that more is. If you never give-up on your search, then you will eventually find that something that is well suited for your particular needs at the time that you are searching. That's what I did and now, I see the fruits of the labor that I have invested. What about you? Have you found the ideal off-line or online income streams that you've been waiting for?

I work both offline and online. I think the offline working is much easier.. My part time job is easy and yields waaaay more money.. ($400 every 2 weeks) While online I'm lucky to get 50 dollars a month.

I work full time offline and part time online. I get a couple dollars that I can use for pocket change. I also get a lot of Amazon gift certificates which I use to purchase DVD's and magazines. I wish I could make more money online. I have been dabbling in earning online for years and haven't came across anything lucrative yet. I may need to look for a part time job offline.

A little extra is always great from my perspective. I use Amazon gift certificates for our Christmas shopping! Last year was so great, I bought our kids Wii game system for Christmas an they LOVE it! I will be buying Christmas again this year the exact same way, will probably add the Wii fit plus now.

For a number of reasons I am only working at home right now I am working on my online income, but it is not an overnight thing. I have, at times worked a full time, plus a part time, plus online. That is really stressful and probably not fair to anyone, especially myself and my family.

Whatever your reasons are GG I'm sure their valid ones. I agree that time away from family is very stressful and doesn't do anything for building the relationships between your spouse and kids.
