I think people should be proud of who they are and should not go for cosmetic surgery to enhance the way they look, unless of course when accidents etc happen that requires it. I personally believe that natural beauty is the prettiest and most important of all people with beautiful heart instead of beautiful face. What do you think about cosmetic surgery or makeup? Do you think it is necessary for most people?

I think women should have the right to choose whatever works for them. If they feel good with make ups, then they should be free to do so.There are some cosmetic surgeries that are really needed. Take for instance the reconstruction of a woman whose face got ripped off by a bear. Cosmetic surgery helped her be whole again. Like you said, why judge with the look of a person? So why see what's on the outside and judge people who wear make ups easily. There are a lot of different personalities who strive to look good and are still great persons.

I agree for plastic surgery to be carried out for those who accidentally got disfigured but i would not encourage people to have it just to look slightly better. Anyway, choices are theirs and we do respect that. Have a nice day!

Natural beauty is the best way to go.I think people should be happy and contented of the unique beauty God gave each and everyone of us. I think there is nothing wrong with makeups and lipsticks since it helps accentuate a person's face, what i really don't appreciate is when a person goes through the knife just to change how she looks like physically although the person has no deformities caused by any injury or accident. Beauty comes from within and when a person accepts and is happy with the way she/he is,then beauty will outflow outwards.

I certainly agree with you. Hopefully less people will opt for cosmetic surgery after seeing the adverse effects it has on so many living examples on the net :p

Just like you, I certainly believe that natural beauty is the prettiest. Cosmetic surgery is a waste of money for me, and just like what you’ve said, unless otherwise it is necessary then I would agree with cosmetic surgery. We should all be proud of how we are created. We’ve been created in the image and likeness of God, and yes, He has wonderfully and fearfully made us.

Yes. Be proud of who we are and how we look. We'll find ourselves much more fortunate than many people that are born abnormal/disfigured etc. What make changes that we do not require :D

I used to get jealous with those people who look beautiful with those make up and can even afford it anytime they need it. I always felt like I was the ugliest among my friends because everyone else wearing make up and I wasn't. Well the reason why was first, I do not know how to apply those make up thing on my face, and second I really could not afford even a lipstick because I have to help my family. So one day, I made a decision to buy a complete set of make up and started using it. After taking some time to learn I finally know how to use it. I was very happy and I felt very confident that I thought I look so beautiful or something lol. But 2 weeks later, I started scratching my face, I was sure I bought all the expensive make up that was recommended by my friends. Pimple started coming out, and I have to say all my life I can't stand this thing. I was very disappointed and I thought my face was getting even uglier with those pimples. I never use those bloody stuff again. I even spent so much money on it and I hate it I hate to realise that i just bought something that is not worth to me. But luckily, I was only 18 that time. Now I'm 26, and I always remembered what I learnt. I'm happy to have a clean face everyday As for cosmetic surgery, no way Yes beauty is a pain, but it is not a true fact if we know what natural beauty is.

Great, now we actually found a living example of how bad is cosmetic to certain people and the adverse effect it might have on us. Anyway, a clean face is certainly much nicer than a face filled will 1 cm tick powder :D

I think cosmetic surgery and makeup is a waste of time and money. Personally, I leave the house with no makeup on, unless if there is a big event of some sort. I prefer walking around with no makeup on since it makes me feel like I am being me. I don't want to pretend to be someone I am not and I do not want to be called pretty just because of the makeup. I am pretty naturally, I do not need those stuff and people know it. ;)

I wish I was naturally beautiful so I would not need to wear makeup but the facts are that I am not! I am plain as ever without makeup and I look terrible. If I slap on a lot of makeup I look pretty decent though. To me there arent many women who are truly so beautiful that they couldnt use at least a little makeup to improve their looks.

I always hated plastic surgery because it just made people fake it makes them look like something they were not born to look like. But my self esteem is so bad anymore that I wish I had enough money to get myself implants among other things to make me look better.

I would generally advice you not to have any implant. I think many implants do have side effects. Maybe you won't notice it at first but later, it might be extreme pain that one couldn't bear. Why risk that when you are already healthy and beautiful in a natural way?

I do agree that makeup is a good invention and might actually make people more confident in certain occasions. Anyway, i just don't think cosmetic surgery is necessary to fix minor glitch.

I think natural is the best but sometimes I think we still need a bit of make up just to make ourself presentable. In my opinion, makeup is a way to show politeness but not too much of it. I have got really sparse eyebrows. So without an eyebrow pencil,I look horrible. I think having cosmetic surgery is too much. It is like taking away who you really are and your family inheritance. I have got big nose which I inherited from my family but I don't really mind so much. For some other people, having a cosmetic surgery is the crux of their self esteem. I agree with you 100% that it is the heart that matters but not a beautiful face.

Yes, i do agree that some extend of makeups is all right at long as not extreme :p Makeups really helps to make a person look more energetic in some ways, so it is nothing wrong with makeups. The point i am saying is we are what we are and we should not simply change our appearance just because we feel unhappy of certain parts of our body. Many people are disfigured during birth and have no money to have cosmetic surgery to correct their appearance and on the contrary, some people is born healthy and still prefer to change the way they look through cosmetic surgery. Cosmetic surgery might seem perfect when they were young, but eventually when they get older, they'll see how artificial it looks :p

I think cosmetic surgery and makeup are not so important, but for a woman to beautify themselves better, at least use the powder it would be pretty sight indeed with a heart and a good attitude about beauty will emerge by itself.

I think people should be happy with themselves and learn to live with who they are and accept it. Really I think cosmetic surgery was just thought of by a guy who wanted to take advantage of people's money by making them think it was out there so it was required. I definitely prefer natural beauty because it means people accept themselves and nothing is more attractive than that.

I totally agree with that and i hate the fact that many people had cosmetic surgery thinking that they would be more beautiful etc. However, i found most of them looking artificial and for some, they look ever worst than they were before the surgery...

natural beauty will always be the best. i'd only take in consideration cosmetic surgery for health reasons. I can say though that cosmetic surgery has a great factor in boosting ones self confidence. it's all up to the bearer and how other people accept them.

I agree that natural beauty is best, at least it is original :p Artificial implants and plastic surgery will add non-living cells to our body and that will surely affect the natural function of the body in a certain way. In my opinion, it is best to avoid having cosmetic surgery unless someone really needs it. Anyway, do hope that those who had cosmetic surgery for beauty would not regret their decision in the future and we do hope their surgery is a total success :D All the best to everyone !

well, thats tricky women always tryign to fix something it really depends on how they are plannign to fix and why i personally wont go that plastic surgery route my self.

Of course I prefer to have a natural beauty. As it can last forever and it is the best. Although makeup can make you look pretty, too. However, you have to depend on it all the time. As to the cosmetic surgery, I will never consider about it because it is somewhat risky. I love China

I agree with you. Natural beauty is way better than beauty enhanced with the help of cosmetics and plastic surgery. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Though you can add a little make up when needed but still, natural beauty beats all of them. But apparently, cosmetic surgery is very popular nowadays. Well, all I can say is that a person has every right to engage into cosmetic surgery but natural beauty is still the best and that will always remain a true fact.

I do agree with you. The choice to have or not to have cosmetic surgery depends on the individual itself. Anyway, nowadays we can actually see some beauty contests starting to appreciate natural beauty, where they were to remove all their makeups during the contest :p It surely seems more appropriate than having the face beautiful because of the powder and makeups people put on their face to hide the skin underneath :D

I think natural beauty is always the best. I do understand that some people go for cosmetic surgery, but I would never do it myself, and I think it should be more limited to really serious cases.

Yes. If accidents that cannot be avoided happened and it disfigures someone, then plastic surgery is really the only way out. Anyway, for those who are healthy, there is no point of having any :D

I do agree!!! We should be proud of who we are in a natural way. Our CREATOR creat us in a unique way and we should be proud of it... I think about cosmetic surgery is only for the people who urgone in an accident not just you want to change something in your face and body. Mind you, personally, I had patients coplaining about the pain they are undergoing after going through under the knife. And in everyday, people arround me kept on complaining about something in their body. I just smile at them and tell that they should be happy on what they have. For me, make up is okey as long as you know how to apply it with the proffession that you have. For I am wearing make up because I work at an office setting. But wearing too much make up is not that good and choose the make up that is good for your skin, in an appropriate setting and time :)

I feel the same way too. It's sad to see some people who rather go through the knife to alter what was once natural and nice in exchange to artificial looks. Furthermore, there are many times surgery with side effects that might actually be with them for the rest of their lives... I do pity them for the wrong choice they made...and i am certain they themselves regretted it

I think cosmetic surgery is mostly a waste of money i think people look much better, healthier if they just stay natural.

It is true that natural is always better, nothing artificial can replace natural things in life.
