what can you say about young politicians? I encounter a 19 year old teenager entering the world of politics. Im talking about higher positions not the sangguniang kabataan. Do you think they should enter this career? If you'll encounter one, would you trust them?

Hi LIENROSE,I do not know enough of the other countries political situation, but one thing is very omnipotent, through out the centuries is that these politicians are more concerned about their own benefits in the form of POWER,WEALTH,NEPOTISM,and latter on comes the country.
One thing we the general masses easily accept if the young one comes from the, royal or the political family......which I believe is wrong way to accept the dominance of these families,b'coz the LOVE FOR THE ONE'S COUNTRY does not come from one particular family, they are not God gifted, rather the opposite,......India was divided into several new country, most of the time by the OUTSIDE-POWER with the help of some individual insider nepotistic politician hailing as the father of Nation, while our constituent is specifically been created to oil the wheels of these politicians and Super-rich entity. Its a joke or the laughing stock for our Nation where there is no Accountability, what ever monetary fraud they commit, they resign and come back after the next (Lok sabha or Bidhan sabha) Election to do it afresh, they are above law which does not apply to them in equal terms as to the general masses.Steady and Slowly our Democracy Is been Democratized In This Way since the last 60+ Years.
On the other hand what you have brought forward is totally new experience and it must be practice as much as possible,at least the democracy will win if not we the general masses.
Happy mylotting.

Hello Lienrose,
I Personally don't know. for young politicians who have acquired higher positions like in the Congress, i think they don't have much experience but has tremendous influence probably because of their parents or their political clans. I am not sure about SK either.

I think that's is okay for entering politics as long as they have the heart to serve people not having the pocket to earn money...
I don't see any changes in politics whether they are young or new in a political position they are in the same feather...because most of the young politicians are belong to politician family...

Young politicians equals young minds. They know what the new generation needs. If you have lived in the slums, teenagers mostly know what the problem of the society. Let them run for a government seat after all the voters will decide.

Hi lien,
I would be proud of course that a 19 year old teenager would aim as high as what he is aiming for but still he needs to take and face a lot of challenges before reaching his goal. I think for now they are not ready but if the time comes I would defitnitely support the young minds.

I always like young politicians than old politicians. Because they have very passions about to doing well for their country. But young politicians always have a problem of experience in politics. Because they are very young so they have not so much experience about politics. But I think after comes in politics they gains experience about this.

as an old adage goes "you can't teach an old dog any new tricks" that's why we need the younger generation to get involved in politics. They may lack the experience but it will come in due time what we need are the new ideas that the younger generation can bring with them. It doesn't matter how old as long as he or she is matured and dedicated enough to serve.

It depends on how much back ground regarding the world that he is about to join or enter. Actually there's nothing bad about young politicians per se, so it's no big deal for me, so long as I could see in the young man the capability to handle the challenges and responsibilities that he/she is going to take.
As Dr. Jose P. Rizal said "Youth is the Hope of our Fatherland." I believe that we the young people, would be vigilant for change and be the change that we want to be, we could have a better Philippines in the near future...
God bless you mate!
