How different would YouTube be if Google did not acquire it?

Four years ago, Google acquired YouTube from two former PayPal employees. The site has changed quite a bit from the original since the acquisition. Many complain that new features put out by Google are pointless, like the now-obsolete bottom bar. I have always wondered what would happen if the two continued to run the site. How much would the site be worth? Would there still be AdSense integration? Will the famous YouTubers still be here?
