how much you pay for a new apartment in where you live

The apartment in China is incrediable high recently. It is almost 10 times more than 5 years ago in the city I live. so curious about how much you guys pay for a new apartment in the city and country you live.

Here in Dubai UAE, renting an apartment is also expensive. Me and my cousin pay 1,500 AED for a bedroom in a 3 bedroom apartment. There are 8 of us living in the apt. 1 AED is equvalent to 3.66 dollars. I dont know what is the conversion to Chinese money. My rent here in dubai is almost 3x of how much i pay for in the Philippines and I dont have to share my room with anybody there.

wow, that's really expensive. But I think it also depends on how much you earn every month, right? Can't not imagine 8 people stay in a 3 bedroom apartment.

It's not really crowded. The flat is quite big. There are three bedrooms and all have bathrooms so it's not hard to schedule bath times. For some people the squeeze in as much as 9 people in just one room. So there will be as much as 20 people in one flat. My living condition is a lot better than other expats here who are not managers or executives

Also where I live it is really expensive to get an apartment, and even more so if the apartment is new or even in good condition. But I don't know what the average cost is really. Almost no young people can afford to buy an apartment though, since it so expensive, so most people rent.
