hi, im quite new here too like you are. based on my experience, providing quality responses to discussions increased my ratings. a few days ago my rating dropped a point so i was thinking maybe some lotters rated my responses negatively which is unavoidable. then just today i got a point up again because i have been active for the past 3 days here and have been attentive to every response i get for discussions i started.

The number in our stars represents how our co lotters rated us. If they rate you positively then, the result is that you will increase the number in your star. Negative rate deemed otherwise. So, in order for you to get that, try to respond and comment sensibly, meaning relevant to the topic and with quality. also, being courteous adds up to the positive rating.:) Keep on doing things positively.
