is adopting a child a good idea if i can't bear one?

tess I think its a wonderful idea if you find you cannot bear a child but if you are young and healthy, I would sure try for a child of my own, as tess its one experience you will treasure all your life.As for fear do not be as modern childbirth has all sorts of help re pain of delivery. I am elderly but remember so well the joy of holding that new born in your arms. However if you cannot bear one of your own, some dear little child somewhere is longing for a great home and loving parents. I wold sure not let fear hold me back if you are able to conceive.good luck and God bless

Of course it's a good option! If you can't biologically bear a child that's the only way to have a child, and there are many kids in this world who are unfortunate and don't have a loving family to take care of them. Turning into the family of one of those kids would give that kid a happy life as well as it would give you a happy life as well having a child to give your love to. It doesn't mind if it's not biologically mine, as if you raise it, it's your child

I think that adoption is a very good idea ! There are alot of children in the world who have been abandoned by their parents and just want a good home and a loving family. You don't need to have given birth to someone to be a really good parent to them.

This is absolutely a great idea. If you can't have a baby biologically, what's wrong if you share your love for other baby who needed it? I personally think that is much more meaningful. Adoption is a great move to share your love to a baby who lost it. Your choice may light a baby's future, and I always believe that children are blessing from God be it a biologically one or adopted one.

hi tess! i think it is a good idea to adopt a child. you will be helping society because that would be one less child roaming the streets and finding a home. that will be one less child who may become a liability to the society. but of course, it has its downsides, like adopted children learning that they are adopted and running away from home. it really depends on how you bring up your adopted child. but i think it is a good choice. the child or children you will adopt will be your new family and you are their new family. best wishes to your plans. :-D may you find the best children for you.

Of course it is! Not just you can have someone new as your family, you also give the child a chance to be in a family. But do bear in mind. Adopting, not like having your own child, can some how be challenging. The child probably take time to really accept you as his/her parent. As you need to show the child, you really want to be with him/her.
