Mini Skirts

I think to the bottom of your finger tips when your arms are straight down to your side. No shorter than that. If you are wearing it shorter you are asking to look like a hooker.

I know what you mean. Sometimes you see things that you wish you've never seen, even if its accidental. I love the rule that my school has about it, the length should be as long as your whole arm extended. I think its just the right length.

and apparently its inappropriate if an older lady wears them, ie, over 35 (according to the TLC show "What not to wear".

Back in the day....I wore them when they first came out in the 70's. Loved them! Back then if the top of your pantyhose showed... it was to short... but today since no one wears panty hose and just bare legs (which looks gross) there is nothing to cover things up and that looks gross too. But I finally learned that seeing "that much leg" was not to becoming unless you were selling, so I lengthened mine to between knee and lower theigh. That looked good. I saw on Ally McBeal when it came out in the late 90's or 2000's.. hers were overly short, especially for her profession, but that's tv and anything goes.

It's true that mini skirts were designed to to short. They should be short, but they should also cover what you don't want exposed to the world. Too short is not appealing.
