I used to dress up as a gypsy with all my mom's jewelry. Now my daughter and her daughter dress up as either vampires or witches. It is their favorite holiday and they go all out. Pumpkin cutting and baking pumpkin seeds as well. It is a fun night. I even wrote an article on keeping kids safe on that night of nights.

I have heard and read quite a few stories about Halloween. It seems that it is a very interesting festival in the west. Speaking of hunted houses, I have been to a man-made hunted house for fee. It is designed for us visitors to experience. It is very horrible inside with different kinds of ghosts inside. I don't think that I will try to get in such a hunted house again as it is so scary. lol

Hello! One of the greatest celebrations, for wich i envy the americans, is the posibillity to celebrate halloween. Where i live we celebrate this event also, but we do not have their traditions, and the trick or treat is one of the most fun and entertaining and rewarding;) thing for a child, and i have never been to!In the country, the 3rd day after christmas we have something like that, i had been from house to house and receive candys, but not dresses as you get to see on TV.
