kiddie party

My youngest daughter is turning 1 on Oct 23rd and I would have liked for her to have a kiddie party, with cake, balloons and perhaps a clown to make her day memorable. If I were to solely decide I would prefer to throw in a kiddie party than spend much on adult party which has already been planned. I feel bad because I'm no longer working so I am not financially capable of doing anything that I please, or in this matter that would please my child.

there are a lot of ways to create a great kiddie party with a budget. for one thing you can practically have a do-it-yourself party, which most moms do now. if you are looking for other kiddie party supplies, just check out http://kiddieparty.ph, its an online resource for planning a kiddie party. you can even post your questions in the forum. happy planning! :-)

Thanks for the suggestions! Tomorrow's the big day and I plan to make everything simple. But I did check the site, it's very helpful, even suggested it to friends for future reference. Cheers!

Awwh do not worry annacelle, about not being able to do all the fun intended things you mentioned. What I would suggest is that whichever route you take for the party that you let others attend to the adults and you solely concentrate on your daughter. Make sure she too is comfortable and enjoys some cake, take lots of pictures as she is only one so she truly will not be missing all the things you cannot currently do. Just think forward and hope that as she gets older you will can do a bit more, but as a mommy being there fore her is truly what she need. The pictures later will give you both great chuckles. I also see you are new to myLot, so a very warm welcome to you.

Thanks for the warm welcome, yeah I am new and been trying to get the feel of myLot! lol. Anyway, tomorrow's my kid's big day and I'll keep the celebration as simple as I can. I have resolved to be frugal in everything, as they say, saving for the rainy days, in a time like this one needs to be practical not extravagant.
