Try to make your room dark and if you live with other people ask them to keep silence. I have variable working schedule and sometimes I work all the night. Many times I can't sleep much during the day. But if I'm really tired, I don't even need a dark room.

I used to work on shift rotation, well and actually still. So I often work on a night shift which caused me to have to sleep in a day time too. So before I go to sleep, I will make sure my room is day, I will put something over my window just so the sunlight doesn't get through. Then I turn a fan on because I surely gonna sweat when it gets hotter and that always wakes me up and will not let me go back to sleep. The best thing is most of the people that are staying around are working in a day time so no one actually disturbs or no noise at all.

Hmmm... Invest in thick curtains that won't allow sunlight to seep in, earplugs is also one to keep the sound out. I think it's best if you invest in an airconditioned room for comfort because daytime tends to be hotter compared to night.
Lastly, advise everyone not to call or knock so that they would understand that you need to get more sleep.

Make your room dark and comfy. And asked the people in your house if you have to keep quiet so you won't be disturb. If you can drink some warm milk before going to sleep this might help a little. And keep your mind relax and don't worry to much.
