Yes, I think it is possible but usually unlikely. If he wasn't really in love in the first place or fell out of love because of relationship issues then he could already be in love with the other person. All the more reason why to keep your significant other on his toes and excited. If she is having problems holding him though, he's probably just addicted to his pattern or doesn't really love her either and will move on. It's best just to not let the affair happen in the first place and move on.

I say no. I think it is not love his feeling right away. That woman can't keep him forever since that guy doesn't really love her but just used her to divert and forget his problems.
