Congratulation for your graduation...welcome to the real world now...I suggest you to keep on search for the job that you've mastered on your field...It is a very common situation. Don't get depressed. I 'd experienced of what you feel right now...it was a really hard situation, and make me questioning myself ,'is there something wrong with me?' The answer is "No, there's not something wrong with you"
It is just a matter of time...Why don't you try to see the job vacancy on your college board, usually there are many companies which are looking for fresh graduate students...
I hope you get job soon..

Hi! Don't worry, you'll find a job soon, don't get discouraged this early, it's been only a week! I found my first job five months after I graduated! And the job wasn't in any way related to my course, but I need to grab that opportunity then, or else I will stay jobless for a longer time, as they say, beggars can't be choosers,LOL!
But that first job helped to find another job later, so I was just glad I took the job even if I was over qualified, for that job only requires applicants to be a High School graduate or a vocational graduate.
So if I were you, just TRY AND TRY UNTIL YOU'RE HIRED! Good luck and don't loose hope! :)

if you want to work then search for a job. Apply and make sure you get hired. Make a good resume and built an air of confidence, be punctual in interviews and make sure you know your expertise. skills and talents. Companies are not justlooking for a worker but a member and a partner in their company's growth and success.

search online for occupations in your town that you are qualified to do. What did you major in college?
what skills do you have? those are important in looking for a job!

Never give up. apply from establishment to establishment. Even go online or even go to agencies which is hiring inline with your profession. Try scheduling an interview with an employer and talk to them with confidence and smile. You can do it. With hard work you can nail this.
