You probably have been struggling getting a new job after you have been fired from your previous job. If you were in an interview, how would you answer this question: “why did they fire you?” Is it worth telling the truth without killing your chances to possibly get hired?
As for me, though I haven’t been fired, I would like to be true to myself, and would like to tell the truth why I was fired. How about you, how would answer this question?

Hi Bev
Its just easier to tell the truth about it'll just come out in the long run especially depending on the type of job if it has a security clearance requirement its most likely going to service however I think I would be just to chicken to lie about it thinking that it would just surface later and I would get fired from that job as well

It depends on what had transpired between you and your previous employer. If it is your fault then it is better to hide the fact but if you are fired for no reason of yours or for a valid reason then you should tell the truth will only clear your conscience and make your life easier to live..

I think that it is best to be honest. For one, it shows that you are an honest person, and whether or not you get the job, at least you can be proud of yourself for not lying. Second, if you lie, chances are, you will get caught in the lie and not get the job anyway. More often than not, if the potential employer has not already sone so before the interview, shortly after, they will conatact your previously employer and get the truth. If you lied, any chance you had of getting that new job will be thrown out the window right then and there. Yep, definitely better to be honest from the start.
