I would love to start my own gardien but unfortunately it will have to waite until I move to a house because my current place has little to no backyard space for plants.
But I love flowering plants and so I'm considering buying a little plant with some pretty flowers on it but um...I would need a plant that requires little to no sunlight because as I said I dont have much yard space, nor do I have good window light. yeah I know its sounds lame and dark its not I just dont have the kind of light that the typical plant requires. but I really really could use some good suggestions? oh and I'm referring to plants that have flowers on them.
Please I'm looking forward to reading your suggestions thanks peeps.

My aunt has african violets in her window and they don't get much sun, they do very well. They almost always have small purple flowers on them. She told me they are touchy with water though, I mean she told me when I was watering them not to get the plants leaves wet, as she said this would kill them. Also you can make other plants from the one, she's taken leaves from one and made other plants from the clippings. Another plant she has with them is a christmas cactus, not a pointsetia, though it only flowers at certain times of the year, but it's the most pretty at these times. The only think I can think of off the top of my head is one of those small olive trees, they are nice looking and get white flowers.

Orchids doesn't need much sunlight. My mom bought one and the flower it had when it came here a few weeks ago still hasn't wilted yet. I guess it's perfect for indoors but I'm not sure if it's available in your area.
