Hi Rondolawe!.
I don't really mind if I don't eat rice for one day. My family don't ear rice to much. I personally only small portion every day and we can substitute it with pasta or others carbohydrate source like potato or taro.
We family is a big fans of vegetable so its will make suffer if they limited the vegetable or allow high concentrate pesticide in vegetable.

Non of it contain rice and its keep me full all day.
Came on there are million people can survive without eating rice in this world, we just need to let our tongue to learn.

I think India is experiencing a deficiency in crop production, especially in rice production, that's why they're suggesting to reduce the intake of rice.

yup i agree with that policy. Its to educate people not to depend on rice. Indonesia are rich country there are many alternative food like you said, corn, casava and thera much other that canot be used or even developed. I really think that Indonesian people must be creatif to make any variation kind of food beside rice. soo our resource can be use optimally

I think our government just want people realize that we have more than rice, such as corn, cassava etc. the government is campaigning this to educate people to food diversification. we need that to reduce malnutrition in some areas and to reduce dependence on rice. of course, we can not change it in an instant, but this is very good to be the beginning. i hope this campaign is started from government officials to give an example to our people.
