Is life unfair?

Happiness does not depend on money or riches but on one's relationship with God. So people should stop yearning for riches and learn to be happy in whatever situation one is in. When a person is happy everything is better. It's all about contentment and contentment is not measured by what we have but by how we feel about what we have. Let's have a happy day!

Nope, it is fair. Knowing that we believe God is with us and guide us everyday. I think it is enough to say that life is fair. We just think that life is unfair if we are not contented with what we have. Let us always remember that God provides all we need and all we have to do is find it by working for it. Yes, rich men get richer everyday because they work harder and smarter everyday. Those less fortunate are too lousy of not even trying to get something better than what they have. So life is fair and it becomes unfair only in the eyes of lazy men (that's what I believe in this matter). *wink

Yes, God is there for each and every one of us. Without him life would be nothing. Rich or poor, its just how we look at things. A poor person is more happy than a rich person cause he has nothing to worry about, I mean the riches of the rich people..

The important is the God is always in our heart. No matter what status of life we have, poor or rich, the important is we can survive the trials in life and always stay to pray and follow the Gods commandments

life is not unfair because that's the will of GOD to us, we cannot blame GOD because of this,....try to think if everything in this life is wealthy who will be the one to deg on the soil to plant to have food to eat? no one right? and if everything in this life is poor who will be the one to buy the resources? no one right? .................so everything we see is in balance.....so it is just normal.

Life is how you make it. On the topic of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer, most wealthy people have worked their behinds off to get where they are, while most poor are their for a reason. Before anyone jumps on me, Their is always exceptions to that rule and it is hard for the poor to get out of their condition. Not impossible though! God is always there you just have to be looking for him.

The way the world and society is structured means it's easier to have a good life if you are born rich. People born poor have to work very hard to get anywhere in life but it is possible if you try. Governments don't make it easy though, like you say the rich are always getting rich and the poor poorer.

I absolutely agree with your last sentence. :) Life is sometimes unfair but not all the time. There are poor people who became rich and famous while rich and famous became infamous and gone poor as well. I think we have all assigned a role to play here on Earth and our roles depend on the strength(weakness ) of our character. Practically speaking, the rich has the advantage of becoming richer because they already have the resources to invest with while the poor is still scrimping to have something he can invest with. Unfortunately, since poor also is deprived of good education , he is not as equipped as the rich one to compete with opportunities that come his way. The lack of knowledge is a big hindrance to elevate our financial stability. Moreover, sometimes, people lack the drive to succeed that's they fail. In this world, survival of the strongest is the name of the game. The weaklings has no room here. Opportunities are just there but are you strong willed enough to have it? Life is not unfair, it is fair in giving what we need. We chose what we need and we chose how to get it.

neelia_lyn! i guess, if we look at the world and gauge it by material things, we would definitely say that life is unfair. In my opinion, life is truly unfair in more ways than one. Why? see those who are born with golden spoon in their mouth? see those who are grayed hair toiling everyday since they were kids up to the time they're bent and gray, yet they still live the same way? poor as a mouse? well, that's life and life is what we make it, or is it? however, material possessions does not necessarily equate with happiness and contentment so while a person may have everything he wants, he might not have the one thing which really matters to him - happiness. while a poor old guy with tattered clothes and rundown house, could be the happiest man you and i might know. so, at this point, life is still unfair. have all the wealth, yet unhappy, and the poor, while he has nothing, might have the one thing the rich don't have - contentment and happiness. so, it really depends on us, people to ascertain whether life is unfair to us or not.if we say it based on material things, well, maybe we're not that popular, that rich but we might have other things which those moneyed or popular people don't have. so, that balances the scale, isn't it?

It is a difficult question to answer. Some people say yes, while the others disagree with it. As for me, I think some unfair phenomenons exist in our society. But we don't need to complain about it, we should work hard. After all, only in this way can we make a happy life in the future.

Life is a gift from God. Life has been packaged by God with all our strengths, weaknesses, talents, skills and capabilities. However, life was not designed by God to be a perfect one which means that life also have its downsides. These downsides of life must allow us to be challenged in conquering life's difficulties. Yes I agree that we can always ask for God's help because He will never give us a burden too heavy for us to carry. I would prefer saying that people are at times unfair. We are all given the free will to choose. It is just a sad reality that there are people who choose to be unfair just to achieve their selfish desires. It not that life is unfair, this is what God had planned for us, there are just unlucky one's who have to strive harder in order for them to live in this world. But all of us is gifted with such unique capabilities, that whatever trials we will have, God is there always watching over us. So, whether we are poor or rich, it does not matter, as long as we live God has plans for us.

Because life has to be hard now so we become worthy of eternal happiness...when you go to heaven you will feel so peaceful and happy and safe...you will feel like God is kissing you every moment it will be like being high forever times a billion times..the pain on earth you endure is nothing because your reward is heaven Depression is hard and many people go through it every year.and to answer your question. life is never perfect and was not designed to be. its a tough world out there.

for me as a buddhist,sorry im talking about religion in here,but for me it mean karma because altough you have try so much and much then you can get what you want it means that your bad karma is bear fruit but never give up before trying thousand times because for me there is so many ways to take to get the success and you can do it if you want,as long as this time im always wondering what is god like,is he a human or abstract..in some religion god is a human but for me what is god? why everything talking to god? is god really here all of your wishes?

Life is what we choose to make of it. It may seem like some people get more advantages than others. This can make life seem unfair to some people. We can never give up our dreams. that is the only way that life can be unfair.
