I want to have a new phone sometime soon and I am wondering which phone is better. I have heard a lot of comments on both but I still want to hear more, probably from the users of these two phones this time. Feedback about the iPhone or Blackberry and its features? Please specify the unit. =D

They are entirely diferent phones in both concept and functionality. The BlackBerry is oriented toward a business phone with fast and secure communications, a business suite, instant email, and BlackBerry messenger for anytime anywhere BlackBerry to BlackBerry chat. The BlackBerry 3G touch-screen phone, Storm, the one most often compared with an iPhone also has a camera and full multimedia capability. The real difference is on the plans associated with each phone. The BlackBerry is an internet phone, not an ordinary phone that can use WiFi (when available) to connect to the internet. As such is is only available with an unlimited internet plan that allows browsing, email, most IM apps and things like Facebook, MySpace, and Flickr as well as full GPS navigation capability. It comes back to choice, a business phone or a playphone. I have both and far prefer the BlackBerry, it is faster texting or writing email, and has better battery life as well as the push (instantly received) email function.

Oh so you mean you cannot use a Blackberry to connect to a Wifi connection even if it's available? I didn't know that. I was choosing over an iPhone 4 and a Blackberry Storm 2. They say Storm has some bugs they wanted to get corrected.

Actually that's wrong. I'm not sure about storm 2 but there are other blackberry devices that you can link to WiFi spots, or your home wireless routers. One I have, bold 9700, can link to wifi spots & wireless routers. Matter in fact, if you get T-Mobile as a carrier, some blackberrys with wifi capabilities can even make calls on router. It's called UMA (Unlicensed Mobile Access). Comes in handy when there's no cell signal. I personally don't like touch screen phones but if you do, depending on which service provider you wanna go with, look into their blackberry options. They'll tell you if the model you choose will have WiFi capability or not.

Oh, okay. From what I've seen from reviews of the Blackberry Storm 2, they say it has WiFi capability. Sometimes I dislike touch screen phones and opt for Qwerty pads, but then I also dislike Qwerty pads. I could tolerate touch screen phones, though.

I have blackberry bold 9700 now & I've used different versions of i-phone before, first generation, 3G & 3Gs. I personally didn't like iphones. Internet seems to be little better on iphones but that's when it worked. Battery didn't seem to hold a charge, or didn't last at all. The fact that I couldn't switch the battery out with extended ones was downfall for me as well. Because of my work, I'm on the phone constantly. Also, majority of the apps were completely useless to me. I don't need 5,000 different games. I have an ipod so I don't need to play music on my phone either. I do have GPS based maps on my blackberry so that's nothing special. Messagings, text & emails, seem to work better with blackberry. I'm not saying blackberry is all that much better phone. I just happen to like blackberry better because it seems to do the job better than iphone.

I see you need the Blackberry since it is a business phone. I guess the iPhone really is more of a fashion icon to people. I already have an iPod touch that is why I wanted to get a Blackberry Storm 2.

I have used blackberry before and I didn't have it all that long as I really didn't like it. I thought I would, but I didn't. It was the blackberry curve, and I just didn't like the browser in it at all. I have had different phones, since then, and now, I have the SAmsung Fascinate, which is a Galaxy S phone. I have only had it a week, and so far, I am really enjoying it. I can do quite a bit with it, and in time it will have full flash, which will be an upgrade. It is the best phone I have ever had, and I am glad that I bought it. I had watched a lot of reviews on it before I bought it, so I would know a little bit about it. I highly recommend the android phone. Take care, and have a very good day.

I did have the blackberry curve at one time, but i really didn't like it all that well, and I will never have another blackberry. The phone I have now, is certainly much better than any of the blackberries out there, but then that is only my opinion, and others might not agree with the.

Which Blackberry phone did you have? I am using the Samsung Wave, it also has AMOLED just like the Samsung Fascinate. It wasn't my first choice but when the Blackberry I wanted was unavailable at the time, I chose Samsung Wave. It's great. It's a bit like your phone but with a different look. It plays HD movies too. =D

People's likes and dislikes vary so don't worry. You don't have to listen to them if they do. =D
