Do you like(or liked) your school system

I think my school system is a bit odd, we learn 12 years, but the programme is basically the same since 7th to 12th grade, we just mostly repeat what we already know and don't learn anything new. And it makes no sense that we have 8 lessons a day and all are different, why can't they make 4 lessons (2 lessons merged in 1) it would save time and we shouldn't take that many books to school. Tell me what system you had and did you like it.

Yeah, we really could get all the information we need with only about 5 years teaching. But, they want to slow things down, so that we are stupid and will be easily controlled, also, the system wouldn't work if people could retire at age 30-40, living to 100, the whole system would collapse, that is part of the reason. If mankind keeps increasing their lifespan, mankind will have to compensate by increasing education time.

Never thought of that, but yeah, life-expactancy increases by time, my parents spend only 10 years on education, I have to spend a 12 already.
