A a grade 8 teacher I am constantly challenging my students to choose their own path. Today I asked them to choose what they'd like to do when they finish school. I also ask that they give me three reasons for their choice.
What I found interesting was the fact that many of them chose their influence as their reason for their particular choice in field of study/profession. Others hadn't seriously thought about it beyond the fact that the salaries were attractive or they simply liked it without knowing the inner workings of it.
So mylotters I ask you who chose your profession. Are you happy with it?

I can say that i chose mine.
My father wants me to be a teacher but i love arts and my passion in arts runs to me,down my spine that i insists what i want.
Thu i was not able to pursue it due to financial problem and i started working by that time too.
Still i am happy with my chosen path.
Now my kids,i gave them the freedom to chose what they want(profession in particular) and i will be willing to support them either.
