Starlight, star bright................

When i was 7 or 8 years old, i used to wish for many things by seeing them. Not only them, we have had many things like, we rub our hand's nails when we see a group of birds flying in the sky and say something, so we could get what we wish. Yeah, this was very childish, but we did enjoyed it. But, now the technology have been improved and no children is interested in these things, they are pretty busy you know

Well yes i do... I don't know about childish thing but by chance if anyway our wish can be true by that then i will surely keep on try with that.. It doesn't need more time for that. Yeah i do that... And as per promise this is for you..

"Starlight, star bright, first star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight." But no, I've never wished on a star, not even when I was a child. The only "wish" thing I ever bothered with was birthday candles, tunnels and a shooting star once.

Starlight.. starbright... please blow the kite.. LOL JK They say that if you wish from a star 9 days straight... you'll get your wish come true. I didn't because on the 4th day of my attendance. It rained! But whenever I see a falling star, I do make a wish. Until today... that wish is still somewhere. Maybe the delivery guy delivered it to the wrong person. But I am very hopeful, saphy. That I will get mine soon. God is testing my patience.

Not only on stars dear. I also wish on wells, fountains, chicken bones and fallen eyelashes. Who knows? One of them might come true. Congratulations on getting your wish

Hi Sweetie I do not every Night but when I am outside with Gissi I always look for the Stars and I do make a wish when I see a bright Star It might be silly but it is something I have done since being a Child

Your wish came true, mine as well, I mean some part of it… but I believe the rest would come true in the right time. I do not see it like a childish behavior or something. Yes, children are fun of gazing those shining objects in the sky, but like us stare at them with different meanings. Something that is really deep within us. Unfortunately I was not able to stare the stars lately, but I had a star gazing before, I even made the same discussion for star gazing back seven or 6 months ago… and this thing just remind me today, why not tonight? Perhaps I would wish again, I wish for the part of my dream to come true sooner… how about that?

Well yes, I do. Mine hasn't. But it's dependent on me getting off my duff and doing some things.

hi saphie! i always look at the stars at night, enjoy seeing them but i don't wish upon them, but i do praise to god for create such a beautiful and amazing creation. personally,i just think that it is better if we wish and pray for things straight to god rather than His creations. it is not childish at all as every one has their own way in appreciate things that happen once in a while.

That has made me think. It's ages since I looked at the stars, let alone made a wish on one. Perhaps you don't notice them any more when you work permanent night shift? I see that you did get the rest of the rhyme: and pleased that you got your wish.

making wishes upon stars are really childish, but enjoyable...even if we are no children anymore.it is best to keep on reliving the childish things, especially if it brings fond memories during childhood.isn't it nice to be a child again and look at the stars and wish upon them.

Hi saphrina, you made me remember my childhood days. I don't when i am in nursery. But sure those days i feel it was just amazing. Those days if comes back how nice..... Star Light ....
